Dr. David Lee Schwendeman, MD

Dr. Schwendeman is an excellent, knowledgeable psychiatrist. He cares for his patients and if you have the will and desire to do the necessary work to take the path to recovery, he will give you all of the guidance you need. He is straightforward, clear and concise. He will tell you if you are doing things to hijack your recovery, and some people do not like having to take that responsibility for themselves.

Excellent care for 20 years from a doctor that is very serious with the care of his patients. He is tough, which maybe why some people may see him as abrasive. But he knows what is good for you, more than you know.

Dr Schwendeman fails to establish a therapeutic alliance with patients or discuss options in a democratic manner. He imposes medication by coercive means, including threatening to withdraw all treatment and care if a particular treatment is objected to. He is a threat to the liberty of patients and should be struck off the register.

He is not a good Dr. he thinks he is a GOD and controls you like a puppet. Do not waste your time. I have been stuck with him for years. I have been trying to find someone else to help me. DO NOT USE HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

dr.david l schwendeman is a very rude and angry person.the worst mental health doctor I have ever seen.He hurt my feelings deeply,do not trust this DR.
