Dr. David B Seifer, MD

Dr. Seifer was extremely knowledgeable and helped us through the infertility and IVF process. I love research and data, so I went into my appointments with a fair amount of background knowledge. When ever I had questions he always answered them throughly. After my husband and I completed our different tests he went through our different options with us and explained which he saw the highest level of success. We went through one full round of IVF, which resulted in multiple viable embryos. After two transfers, we are so happily nearing our babies due date!

Dr. Seifer is condescending and gruff. His answers trivialized my questions and he did not address simple concerns.

My partner and I are so grateful to Dr. Seifer for helping us on our fertility journey. I was a patient of his for 1.5 years, and feel that I got the best possible testing and care from him and his team at Yale. Dr. Seifer is very professional, caring and kind. He is also fantastic at both explaining all the complexities of the test results and the available treatment options, and at performing the procedures himself. Dr.Seifer was very thorough and extensive with all the testing which resulted in really knowing what was happening with my body and why. He was very professional, supportive and kind throughout the process. Overall I had a great experience and he gave me peace of mind which I am grateful for.

I met Dr. Seifer over a teledoc appointment almost a month ago to discuss my medical history and plans for a fertility journey. I was blown away by his friendliness and thoroughness in the hour that we spoke. I found out I was pregnant the day after my appointment and since then he has been monitoring my blood levels and performing Sac Checks, keeping a close eye on the pregnancy. Dr. Seifer is caring and easy to talk to, reassuring and kind. I am so thankful to have been his patient during a scary time because he did everything to make me feel at ease. All of the staff at the Orange office was just as wonderful and kind too!

I have been on my fertility journey for the past two years, one and a half of those with Dr. Seifer. Over the course of that time, which was initially filled with anxiety and fear of the process, I was able to gradually relax feeling that I was being provided with world class treatment by a renowned specialist. Dr. Seifer was cautious with me -- making sure that I was tested for many things and able to undergo the treatment that I needed. Results were explained to me and I was made a part of the process -- with choices and input about my and my husband's treatment plans. The treatment plan was research based and comprehensive. I know this because I actively researched and compared plans with others in the fertility community as well as compared clinics in the northeast. Dr. Seifer is clearly highly competent and honest. He does not provide false hope, but rather works tirelessly with his team to ensure that the most competitive, competent treatment is provided and success is… met. He reminded me when to be brave and provided positive encouragement through his hard work and commitment to my care. I would highly recommend him and his "Red Team" to others with challenges to their fertility because this doctor and his team gave my family the gift of hope and a healthy pregnancy.

We had a fantastic experience working with Dr. Seifer. Going through infertility is an incredibly emotional and overwhelming experience, and Dr Seifer did a great job of explaining all our options and answering all our questions in a straightforward, factual and compassionate way. The nursing and support staff were very knowledgeable and kind, they held my hand throughout the IVF process and were available at all times to discuss any questions or concerns that came up. I felt extremely informed and supported throughout the entire process. I have friends that have gone through infertility/IVF with other clinics and none of them received anywhere near the support and individualized attention I received at Yale. Because of Dr Seifer, our dreams came true and we are expecting our first child, a baby boy, in a few months.

Dr. Seifer and his office came highly recommended from my neighbors who had visited this office. They had the IUI procedure previously. From the first day of our consultation until my last visit at 10 weeks, Dr. Seifer and his staff have been amazing. He was always there to answer all of our questions that we had. He and his team of nurses walked me through every stage of the process. Dr. Seifer made me feel comfortable when it was time to do the procedure. At first he stated, he was not going to be able to do the egg transfer procedure because one of his other procedures ran too long. But, when it came time for the procedure some way he made it possible and he was able to do the procedure. I would highly recommend this doctor and his staff for any fertility issues. Thank you.

Dr. Seifer and his staff, particularly Ashley, were the fourth team of caretakers we met with during our journey to get pregnant. Immediately at the first meeting you could tell we were being treated by a caring team with a personal touch. Dr Seifer's expertise and thoroughness helped us achieve our greatest dream and we will always be thankful to him and his team for it.
