Dr. David William Selby, DO

I only met him once and was told to contact him a different way. I don’t know another way, but would very much like to see him or talk with him again.

He loves to talk, but nothing he says is aimed at getting to know the patient or treating them as an individual. When the patient talks he clearly doesn't listen. This is based on multiple visits over 15 years. He is not bad at osteopathic manipulation if you have pain, but for anything else, he is a terrible GP.

Thank you to the wonderful physicians that treated me today. I was traveling from out of town and they got me right in, I was dealing with some difficult issues and they spent a lot of time to put me at ease and make sure that I was in a good place when I left.. Thanks again for what you do every day.

Dr. Selby just talks at you and doesn't listen to a patient. He knows medicine but has a terrible bedside manner.

The staff here puts up with an overbearing tyrant. I am very disappointed in his lack of professionalism and confrontational approach. He does not listen and interrupts when you are responding to his questions. He seems to be more interest in filling out medical record than treating the patient. The last time I was in he yelled at me within intense red face and ordered me to â??Sit downâ??,,,,SIT â?¦DOWN!!â?? I wouldnâ??t talk to my child or dog this way! I have a back issue which causes pain when I sit so I was standing (I had explained this to his assistant before he came into the room, and she said it was fine to stand). He did know this because he did not ask or give me a chance to explain. He thought I had neck pain but after several appointments and all his records you would think he would know my issue is in my LOWER back. I strongly recommend you find another physician and run as fast as you can from this guy. He gives the medical profession a bad name.

Great Dr. always understanding and helpful. Excellent service, extremely knowledgeable pared with outstanding bed side manner. If you need a doctor who really cares about you and your problems, Dr. Selby is your man!

This doctor charges patients for services he didn't provide, and his office staff is rude and unhelpful. I went there and had a routine physical, and he charged me for an additional office visit for a urinary tract which he found AFTER I LEFT THE OFFICE. His office staff refuses to recognize that this office visit never happened. I ended up having to pay the balance so they didn't send me to collections. I will NEVER go back here!

I have know Dr. Selby for over 20 years and he has been my treating physician for most of those years. I have also worked in the healthcare industry for over 27 years and have worked with countless physicians and surgeons. He is one of the most intelligent physicians I have met. He thinks unlike any other family practice physician I have met; always thinking outside of the box. He has always been conscientious about my family history and changes and has caught things before they became true medical concerns. There were a lot of changes in staff over the past 4-5 years and I miss the girls who worked there for what seemed like forever. Not sure what happened but they all seemed like family to us.

I was treated quickly and Dr. Selby helped me very quickly. I feel better already.

I have been going to Dr Selby now for a few years now. I am a healthy person so I may only see him once or twice a year. However, each time I have gone I have always left feeling as though he is rushing you in and out as fast as possible. If you are in need of talking about something you a interrupted. At this point in time you should feel that your doctor should have some idea as to who you are. This last year I have had more times that brought me to his office. Each time I felt as though I shouldn't have gone and particularly this last visit I felt terribly belittled. He's a good doctor if you go in for something that is plainly obvious little a flu or pneumonia or the like, but beyond that you may feel that you money will not be well spent.
