Dr. David Howard Shapiro, MD

His assistant Charlotte is the sweetest person but David Howard Shapiro is an @$$#ole. He is not deserving to be called a doctor. I couldn’t even answer his questions before being rudely cutt off. He act as if I had personally did something to offend him. I drove 7 hrs from Georgia seeking treatment but had THEE worst experience at a “doctors “ office. Please read the other 1Star reviews and see this in not an isolated incident. HE IS AN A-Hole!!!!!!!!!!!

After less than 15 minutes of rudeness, I get a bill...$650 for nothing. Not recommended at all. While he may be experienced, after looking into so many $%*holes, I guess you eventually just become one.

Wonderfully compassionate and highly skilled surgeon. Takes the extra time to explain your condition and any needed procedures.

Should be negative 5 stars 1 is just not low enough. Ended up in ER that night (which never received pain med because as the secretary told me after all weekend without his dea and/or script license had expired but had renewed on that monday so can scribe now ) then again 4 days later with emergency surgery to correct the hack job that was done. Then another 8 weeks of in and out Er and another surgery to finish the hack job. I remember asking him to stop witj novacaine and he said no you're almsot done. So on top of the emotional trauma of his behavior and then the physical trauma there waa the 8 weeks of financial burden from not fully working. I'm just now in a place mentally where I can begin to speak without fully breaking down and will begin to look into reporting to medical board at the very least

Dr. Shapiro is a very thought full and caring physician. He explains and shows you what he is going to do in great detail and answers all of my questions. He is a true professional and expert in what he is doing. I would highly recommend him if his services are needed.

I decided to fly from Vancouver, Canada to see Dr. Shapiro because I heard such great things on the internet about him. Everything was absolutely true. I was seen quickly for a consultation, I was scheduled the next day for the surgery, and the procedure went extremely well. Dr. Shapiro and Sarah (Office Admin) were absolutely wonderful and very professional. Sarah was fantastic! Dr. Shapiro is a doctor that truly cares and has an incredible gift in which he uses to help people well into his retirement years. I truly appreciate his surgical skills, his professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help his patients. Dr. Shapiro you are a model of what all doctors should strive to be - THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Dr. Shapiro: one of the truest breaths of fresh air to date that I have come across. A doctor that actually takes the Hippocratic oath to heart, and puts concern and care for the patient at A, top, number one priority. I didn't' suffer with just one or two, or even three or four hemorrhoids - i suffered with what I called, "The Grapes of Wrath" for over thirty years. I Saw more than my share of so-called doctors who wanted to put me under full anesthesia, so I could pay the hospital fees plus the doctor fees. There were even some who said, 'when you have better insurance I'll have someone I can send you to. Finding Dr. Shapiro has been wonderful, he has been a true hero and a gentleman, like a knight in shining armor. He is the light at the end of tunnel you've been looking for!

I really liked how the Dr. sat down with me and counseled me about all of my treatment options. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions. His bed side manor is amazing!

The Dr. was so professional. Very informative, and a great bedside manner. His assistant is very helpful. Very professional and they both are very caring to their patients.
