Horrible bedside manners. Has little empathy for his patients. I was his last patient of the day, he was literally standing at the door with his hand on the knob as I attempted to ask a few questions. Will continue to see Andrea for my condition because it is a time sensitive matter but I hate that I am even putting money in this mans pocket.

Dr. David Shearer is a fine fellow. very thorough in his examination, and he took the extra time to make certain that I understood the diagnosis as well as the treatment plan. He and his staff were extremely courteous and positive. I would highly recommend him without any reservations.

Terrible bed side manner, doesn't explain anything, talked to us like we were stupid, had zero human compassion, and treated his nursing staff with complete disrespect. Spent 5 minutes in examination room and would never refer him to anyone.

Charged me $400 at the check-out desk for a normal checkup and cryotherapy treatment on a few spots, also one spot cut off for pre-cancer screening. I was shocked when checking out to be told I owed 70% of the bill and there was no mention of this ahead of time. I am fully insured though my deductible had not yet been met. On top of that $400 I paid them at the office, they also billed my insurance $570 (on top of the $400 I has already paid them). My Insurance indicates that the total bill should not have been over $570. This practice of charging me 70% at the appointment time as well as sending a full bill to my Insurance company seems to me a way to get around the $250 Plan Discount forced on them for being in the Insurance Plan. For now my Insurance Co. is still telling me I owe them $320 (for my deductible) even though I already paid them $400. I am not happy with their billing practices and I feel like I'm being ripped off. Additionally... while their office wait times have… vastly improved (used to have to wait 25-30 minutes after appt. times) but also it seems there is a whole lot less people in the waiting room. I think the 70% cash payment requirement might be pushing patients to other doctors? Or perhaps. like me, they are feeling they are being cheated. I still am waiting for my reimbursement of $60 and not one word or follow-up from them.

Dr. David Shearer has been my dermatologist for several years. He usually takes care of removal of areas while in his office, and I have had little needed follow-up as of yet.

Terrible accounting dept. Expect to go back and forth. However Dr is o.k.

I went in for a simple nickel allergy test and went home with one half of my back covered with patch tests. Totally unnecessary but they talked me into the tests. I was very tired due to multiple testing the same day at local hospital hospital for knee replacement and to tired to argue with the doc. I have no choice but to follow up with him. Office staff are the rudest I've encountered.

I had a wart(basal cell carcinoma) removed on my scalp and warned Dr clay shearer I was on coumadin.when the stitches came out it burst open and bled uncontrollably. New stitching and then he would not resolve a bill that the insurance company would not pay.I had already paid more than half. and the cancer has returned, meantime He had the collection company file against my credit and would not discuss the problem
