I am the Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology for the Northshore LIJ Health System and I practice at the LIJ Campus. At Long Island Jewish Medical Center we operate a clinically oriented Interventional Radiology Practice including an outpatient clinic and a hospital service. My office hours are 12-4pm Mondays & 12-5:30pm Wednesdays.
I perform the entire gamut of imaging guided interventional procedures and I have a particular interest in GU and GYN Intervention I have one of the largest personal experiences with percutaneous renal tumor cryoablation, gonadal vein embolization for the treatment varicocele and pelvic congestion syndrome and uterine fibroid embolization. I served as a principal investigator for the Uterine Artery Embolization Fibroid Registry for Outcomes Data study.
I am a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology, a Fellow and Vice president of the International Society of Angiology and a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the …American College of Radiology, the New York State Radiological Society, and the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology.
I have authored over 25 articles, participated in over 30 scientific abstracts and poster presentations and delivered more than 50 invited lectures. I am on the editorial board of the International Journal of Angiology and I also review articles for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, the Journal of Urology and the Journal of Endourology. |
