Dr. David Alan Siker, MD

saved my dads life, he was ready right away, it depends if you had something serious of the wait time. My father was dying and he waited about 5 minutes and started prepping for surgery , thanks to him my dad is alive.

Dr David Siker is one of a few doctors who made me feel like my problem was as important to him as it was to me. He had a very difficult time accessing the vein in the brain that needed attention, but did not give up and after two plus hours continued until he was successful in getting access then continued until the problem was fixed. He made himself available to me after the intervention to answer any fears or problems that arose. I highly recommend him to everyone.

I have always had aching in my neck which sometimes gives me some shocks down my left arm. My chiropractor usually could make it better for awhile but then it just didnt go away. He finally sent me to Siker medical for my neck and arm pain. Nina Ford NP and Dr. Siker evaluated me and told me I might eventually need neck surgery but suggested I try nerve blocks. I had one nerve block for my arm. It has been 4 months now and my pain is still gone. The experience was really good. Their sedation nurse Scott was also awesome. I did have to wait a little bit I guess Dr. Siker was at hospital the day of my procedure, but I feel like they really know what they are doing. (grateful person from the dalles).

I had been having really bad headaches and some blurred vision for several months. My doctor had me get a MRI of my brain which showed a brain aneurysm which had been growing and pressing on a nerve. A friend knew about Dr. Siker at Emanuel Hospital. My primary doctor also sent me to Dr. Delashaw at OHSU. Dr. Delashaw said that the only possible treatment was with brain surgery. Dr. Siker said he was pretty sure he could treat it with minimally invasive treatment (Using Coils). I liked Dr. Sikers calm unassuming manner. I decided to let him try. It took him 3 hours while I was asleep. I went home the next day, with some bruising in my leg. My headaches were almost completely gone, and they did go away completely after the first week. Dr. Siker called me twice. When I first met him he spent an hour with me and my husband on on one. I am grateful to Dr. Siker and his staff. In retrospect, I think Dr. Delashaw was arrogant, and it makes me mad that he was absolutely going to take me… to brain surgery without even entertaining that there were other ways to do this. Since then, I have heard more about Dr. Siker. He doesnt get the exposure that the university does, but people in the medical community say he is the single best physician for brain aneurysms in Portland, bar none. I was lucky to have been connected with him.

In 2007 I had a ruptured brain aneurysm and almost died. They said they couldnt fix it without open brain surgery, but my family heard about Dr. Siker at Emanuel Hospital and I was transferred there. Dr. Siker fixed my brain aneurysm at the time with minimally invasive technique. He was wonderful to me and my family. I have recovered completely since then. Since that time, he has even taken care of my back pain with injections. He is the smartest doctor I have ever known. He really cares. I know that he is busy, but always gets back to me on the phone or by email.

One of the most unprofessional experiences I've had with a physician. My results were delivered in the waiting room in front of other patients and families of the patients. There was no time to ask any questions as it was a VERY private and personal diagnosis, as EVERYONE in the lobby could hear. Still contemplating turning the physician into HIPPA. HORRIBLE! Would NEVER go back to this office!

He performed a new type of surgery on me to fix facet joints. Upon telling him I was not doing any better after several visits I was left with a I don't know what I can do and not futher action on his part to either correct the problem or refer me on to a specialist to try to correct the problem.

I have had MRIs at several places in town and this was by far the best. Dr. Siker spent time with me going over my MRI, found the source of my back pain and treated it correctly. I have been pain free for three months now. I highly recommend this doctor.

I had a TruFuse procdure done on my back and it was supposed to make me 70% better instead it has made me 100% worse. In the end all I have gotten was more pain and the feeling Dr. Siker did his job and who cares about the outcome. I wish everythig would come undone and start from scratch and no surgery would ever have been performed by someone who leaves me with a feeling of I don't care once everything is said and done.When speaking with an Orthopedic and Neurosurgeon about this they stated you had a radiologis perform this and they did not know this was being performed on humans.Get a real Dr's opinion prior to having this Dr perform surgery on you.
