I suffered with poor tear duct function for almost 5 years--almost constant tearing of my left eye. And then I discovered that Dr. Silbert inserts the newest stents. What a difference he made in my life. Stent was placed for 3 months and easily removed in his office. Have had no tearing since stent placement and its removal. I highly recommend Dr. Silbert.

Dr. Silbert and his staff are very knowledge in disorders of the eye. Within the few weeks of my consult with Dr. Silbert, I had all the information for a thorough, precise procedure to correct the alignment of my eyes. I would refer everyone to Dr. Silbert. He is an extremely skilled physician with a wonderful, caring bedside manner. His staff was also top notch! Dr. Silbert did eyelid surgery on me and I didn't even have pain the first day after the surgery! I was amazed.

I really used to like Dr. Silbert but this last time I saw him he was checking my 4 year old son and was just down right rude and not friendly at all. I felt like my concerns were ignored and written off with little explanation. Very disappointing...

Excellent diagnostician, very thorough, spent a great deal of time with family member and had great follow up.

What a great dr he help to solve the problem i was having i continued to get into car accidents and he figured out i needed glasses. now i can see and i dont get into any accidents. this guy knows his stuff.

Dr Silbert is chronically late and rude. I have waited up to two hours. When he does arrive he doesn't ask why you are there; in fact he barely speaks at all. His attitude is dismissive and has absolutely no" bedside manner". I finally stopped seeing him when I asked him why I was having headaches and pain in my eyes. His response was "I don't know". That was all he said. The following week I was admitted to the hospital for a very serious condition that causes sudden, permanent blindness. Several years earlier he performed a procedure on each of my eyes at two separate appointments. During the second visit, he did the procedure on the WRONG EYE not realizing that he had already done that eye. It wasn't until I told him that he bothered to check my file.

i had a chalazion removed by dr silbert. the total time i was with him for the whole procedure was 10 minutes. i had one on each eye, he came in and said which one are we working on today??? am i a doctor?? isn't that his decision? he stuck a numbing needle in my eyelid twice - excruciating pain. after the procedure he ducked out a back door in a few minutes. he has zero bedside manner. never discussed follow up, etc. his proceduce left me with my eye patched for the entire day, ugly looking after effects and a drooping under my eye. i had nothing to compare this to until i had my second chalazion removed by dr goldberg. what a difference. this one was actually bigger. he stuck his numbing needle into my lid 5 times - didnt even feel a pick. after my surgery, removed my eyepatch in 15 minutes - drove home - no issues or ugly looking after effects or drooping. the difference was like nite and day.

He is rude, unprofessional, and only worried about getting paid for the visit! We waited 2 1/2 hours to see him, he spent 10 minutes with my son and handed me a couple pamphlets to read about his condition.
