Feel so blessed to have Dr. Silkiner as my PCP since the beginning ! He is very caring ,knowledgeable , helpful , friendly , great diagnostician , easy to talk to & never rushed . Something very important to me .

Dr Silkiner is very well educated and is a great doctor. He has a great personality. The issue is the time to wait to get in to see him for an appointment. In the last 4 visits my wait time has averaged 1 hr. 15 minutes waiting for him. Today it was 1 hr. 30 minutes so I walked out. My rating of 1 is because of this. I can’t tell you why it takes so long, only to warn you to pack a lunch if you schedule an appointment with Dr Silkiner.

I have been going to Dr. Silkiner for around 36 years. He always takes time with me and answers my questions. He listens to my problems. The only problem is that I cannot always get my Dr. Silkiner, because he stays very busy. I have to make my physical appointment a year ahead. He is the Best. All of the other doctors at Hillcrest Family Practice are great, too. I just prefer Dr. Silkiner. They make great family doctors. :)

I'm writing as anonymous because I know how doctors have been known to try and sue over bad reviews. Regardless, I have been a patient with Dr. Silkiner for over 10 years. Recently, he prescribed me a drug that he really did not know much about, and the drug ended up giving me huge side effects. After I reported the side effects to him, he offered empty solutions that did not help and I have been continuing to suffer. I would not recommend a doctor that prescribes things without really researching them and the harm those things may cause to someone.

Dr. Silkiner had been my family doctor since he opened his office in 1986. I have been to many other doctors throughout my life and no one can come close to him when it comes to his caring compassionate nature. The only negative thing I can think of is the amount of time I have to wait to see him. On the other hand, the reason he is so being is because of the amount of time he spends with each patient. He goes about and beyond what is expected of a normal family care doctor.

I can not say enough about Dr. Silkiner. I have been going to him for a lot of years, and hope to continue for a lot more. He is a great, caring doctor. He never stops until he gets to the root of your problems. He is tops in my book.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Silkiner. I highly recommend him.
