Dr. David Mark Silver, MD

Best family dr. i've had since Dr. Donkel. Dr. Silver listens to what i have to say. He makes professional sugestions and is concerned with my overall being. I would not have made it this long without his proffesional guidance. His nurse is very responsive and polite. Jonell was the best.

Dr Silver always listens to me, spends appropriate time, asks about related issues, keeps track of my medication and lab work. He takes great care of me. He has a sense of humor and professional manner at the same time. His nurse is professional, helpful and efficient. I worked 30 years at a major portland teaching hospital and have been around 1,000s of doctors, nurses and support staff all of that time. Dr Silver is a dedicated physician and knows his stuff. I have never felt rushed, brushed off or unimportant since I've been under his care. He is a good doc.

Dr. Silver seems burned out on doctoring. He spends very little time with me (15 minutes).He is obsessed with solving every problem with a pill. Doesn't ask about diet or exercise. Never suggests any kind of alternative medicine. Tell him your problem, he writes out a prescription. Cut and dry. Also, his nurse is cold, unfriendly, and is highly reluctant to speak on the phone.And yet, he pressures you into making an appt every 3 months, whether you need it or not, or for something that can be discussed on the phone in less than a minute.Bottom line: He's lost interest in being a doctor. And it shows.

Dr. Silver is very very thurough when it comes to patient care. He presents with the utmost professionalism and knowledge. He follows us when necessary and responds promptly to prescription fill requests. Overall he is the best Dr. I have ever had and would reccommend him to my entire family.
