Dr. David Meade Smith, MD

i subject a dental claim for 620.00 dollars. my refund was 434.00 dollars. the insurance paid the money to Dr Smith on October 9th, 2025. i have yet to receive any money on this claim. The office is giving me the runaround. they cannot tell anything ??? Why.

I’ve been to Dr Smith as a patient as have three of my children, we’ve all been treated extremely well. The entire staff is professional and courteous.

Our experience couldn't have been more pleasant. My son was referred to Dr. Smith to have his wisdom teeth removed. His staff was very professional and courteous. Dr. Smith spent time with us during the consultation carefully explaining the procedure and patiently answering all our questions. His front desk staff was able to give us a thorough review of our insurance coverages and out-of-pocket costs. And most importantly, our son recieved outstanding care during his surgery and during the follow-up afterwards. Very impressed overall and we couldn't have been happier with the overall experience. Would recommend Dr. Smith to anyone!

I was pleased that my daughter was able to have her wisdome teeth removed and given caring attention. What I am so upset about is that I could not get anyone to tell me how much it was going to cost me out-of-pocket. My oldest daughter had her 4 wisdom teeth cut out last year and the consultation and everything cost me $520. This Dr. charged $95 just for the 20 min. consultation. I still did not know how much it was going to cost and I asked the receptionist when I came into the office. It wasn't until they took my daughter back and sedated her that the receptionist dropped the bombshell that it was going to cost me $957!!!! The only reason I did not go back to the other office was because the Orthodontist referred us to Dr. Smith. My son has to have his wisdom teeth removed and I have already made the appointment with the docs that took care of my oldest daughter. They have assured me the MOST I will have to pay out of pocket will be $520. Do make the mistake I did. Find out before… you even go into the office what the cost is going to be.
