Dr. David H Smith, DDS

Dr. David H. Smith DMD was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1975. He is proud of the moral and ethical values he learned while at Trinity. In 1979, at the University of Louisville, Dr. Smith received his B.A. degree with honors in biology. In 1983, he received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Louisville Dental School. Dr. Smith’s education did not stop there. He is proud to say that he attends numerous continuing education seminars throughout the United States. Although the professional requirement is only fifteen hours of study a year, he accumulates between one to two hundred hours a year. This allows Dr. Smith to provide quality care to his patients.
Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society, Woodland Study Group, Greater Louisville Aesthetic Masters and East End Dental Society. He is very active in the study groups in which he is involved. Dr. Smith has …served on the Board of Directors for the Louisville Dental Society.
Dr. Smith and his wife Connie have two children, Christina and Michael, both of whom are in college pursuing their own professional careers.
After hours, Dr. Smith enjoys working out at the gym, water skiing, and spending time with his family.
