Dr. David Louis Sobel, MD

All of the people in his office are very considerate and helpful. Doctor Sobel was very concise, descriptive and fast in his examination and diagnosis.

Dr. David Sobel is simply the best in his field of Urology that I can ever imagine. This is a personal point of view (his never ending care for me and my family) and just looking into the faces of the people in his office as I visit often. Not sure if they are all seeing him or his people, but the office is always full of hope it seems. He has always taken that extra step it seems in the discussions about my bladder cancer and has always been positive it seems in the corrective actions needed in my treatments.......Thus far (two years at least) I could not think of seeing another doctor for my needs except David Sobel. Not only would I recommend him 110% to any other people that needed this kind of help and support, I consider him not only my doctor on so many fronts, but he is also my good friend!

Dr. Sobel is exceptional. He took the extra time with me and my husband to discuss all of the various options for the surgical procedure my husband needed. Dr. Sobel was up front and honest about his experience with the specific type of procedure we were looking in to and went so far as the provide us with outside referrals to other surgeons who also preformed the surgery. He encouraged us to educate ourselves, consider all options and do what felt most comfortable. Ultimately, we choose to move forward with him. His support staff spent additional time discussing what to expect the day of the surgery. Dr. Sobel saw my husband personally each day he was in the hospital afterwards and called several days after my husband was discharged home to check in on us. Although we had to wait an extra 20 minutes one day to see him because he was running behind, he explained he was coming from the operating room. I knew that he was taking the necessary time with that family and their needs just as… he had us. He is worth the wait. He is an excellent surgeon; friendly, approachable, available to his patients and willing to go above and beyond to provide good patient care. I highly recommend him for anyone with general urologic needs or for treatment of sexual dysfunction.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sobel's for a number of years. I have referred numerous friends and associates - all of whom have been very pleased. He is professional, skilled and highly knowledgable in every way imaginable and always explains my treatment options. He takes time to really listen to me before discussing treatment options, and when he does, his recommendations are measured and thoughtful. His style is personal, kind and empathetic. I couldn't be more pleased with the high level of care I have received these many years from Dr. Sobel.

Dr. Sobel was considerate and caring regarding a very sensitive subject. Could not be happier with my experience. Great doctor. Great person. He worked around my schedule. Did my surgery at a time that worked for me and my family. Eternally grateful.

This guy runs a private practice that is easy to see what he was as bout. Firstly You See his p.a. which makes the whole point of seeing a "specialist" kind of pointless. He is not there to help you, he is there to sell a product and make money. Being enclosed in a room with 2 people teaming up at you instead of Dr. - patient private conversation shows clear tactics at making UK or uncomfortable. He did not want to listen to anything I had to sayand he definitelydidnt want me getting a second opinion. He got defensive and standoffish at the mention of any other option which says SHADY all over it. I would not ever go there again or recommend anyone to waste their time. You will not be treated like a person. Mearly a 'consumer' to push product on.

Honest and accurate with the diagnosis and willing to do whatever it takes to address the patients needs, even to the extent of performing emergency procedures after hours. The Dr. and his staff have always put me first when meeting with them.

Dr. Sobel was such a terrific doctor and my husband and I really appreciated his wonderful bedside manner and his above and beyond medical ability. We will highly recommend Dr. Sobel who needs a top doc in urology.
