If I could give 0 Stars I would! Dr. Songs should be sue for Malpractice. He literally butchered my mother. Leaving her scared and in pain after transferring stomach tissue to the breast. Before the surgery his attitude wasn't positive toward my Mom as he asked her " Did you call and report I was being unprofessional"? My Mom replied "oh no that wasn't me" she always spoke highly of him. I left so they could do the surgery. When it was complete my breast were sooooo uneven,with no shape and didn't look like a breast at all. I have photo's!!! The surgery til this day isn't complete. She trusted he'd complete it but never did. Mom has been in pain every day since then. Please women do not take the chance with him. Most people don't need it. Embrace your natural physicality. Having been a liver transplant patient in 2008. I was the last patient that Dr David Song saw I think I'm may have overwhelmed him with all my medical information It was 4:00 p.m. When I saw him and we really didn't have enough time to go over everything clearly. As I mentioned I was going over a lot of my medical history and other doctors that I had seen. Which I have a very complex medical background and surgical procedures done. Which I don't think he was expecting once I started to tell him everything. It was late in the day last patient of the day. It wasn't a bad experience It was an unclear discussion.

Dr.David Song came to my life like an angel. He save not only my double mastectomy reconstruction surgery but my life, because at that point I was very depressed and not sure what was going to happen. He is a wonderful human being. God works through his hands and he gave me hope again.I trust Dr. Song with my life.God bless you.I recommend to everyone! !

wonderful staff and great bedside manner .

I went for opinions from Rush, Northwestern, Northshore, and other Plastic surgeons in the area. Dr. Song was compassionate, to the point, a skilled professional, told me exactly what was going to be done, dealt with my concerns, and was patient with me. I am one of the only patients that gained weight during 5 month of chemo, and had to lose 50 lbs prior to my reconsructive surgery for the skin grafting to take. I underwent a 16 hour operations, performed by Dr. Song and his team. He demonstrated remarkable perserverence to get the job done so I would not have to go through a another surgery to complete the reconstruction. His staff kept my husband informed throughout the 16 hours, and he was back bright and early the next morning to ensure I was okay. He is also a perfectionist which is a good thing for a plastic surgeon to be. He is very accessible, providing me with his email which made the recovery less stressful. I would highly recommend Dr. Song.
