Dr. David Sperling, MD

I went to have a port placed for cancer treatment. He insisted on putting it in my arm instead of my chest, with no regard for any of my concerns. Five weeks later, I had to have the painful arm port removed and one much more comfortably placed in my chest. My concern is that he is singularly focused on arm port, for no discernible reason, to my detriment. His arrogance and terrible manner was clear when he walked out of the room without even telling me that he was finished with the procedure. He may be technically skilled but he’s a terrible doctor with an agenda that does not put patients first.

This doctor is the most arrogant Dr I've ever seen. He only likes wealthy patients with good insurances. He made fun of my Medicaid. I thought it was very inappropriate and demeaning. The wait time was quite long and the treatment did not work for me at all. I don't recommend this doctor.

Dr Sperling was amazing today at my first visit. He did not make me feel rushed at all and took his time explaining everything in detail. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and I left there feeling good and knowing exactly what to expect with treatment. I have full trust in Dr Sperling.

This the most ridiculous waste of tax paper dollars. Medicare reimbursed over $25,000 for a procedure which took less than 45 minutes vascular embolization which resulted in a permanent bruise/blood clot. Actual problem was arthritis of the foot. Mis-diagnosed and widely crazy billing. He was nice enough during procedure until I received bill and advised that I was very upset by this mis-use of our medical monies. Do Not Go to Him.

My husband and I went to Dr. Sperling to treat his varicoceles. We went on Tuesday for a consultation and were finished with the procedure by 11:00am on Thursday!!!! The whole staff went out of their way to accommodate our schedule. And the stars must have been aligned. Dr. Sperling was intelligent, obviously an expert in his field and completely down to earth, sweet and normal. We immediately felt so at ease with him. Everything about the office, both in the city and in Tarrytown were fantastic. I can’t recommend him enough. Thank you again.

When I came to dr. Sperling I was traumatized from my past experience at a different hospital. I was terrified of the pain the other Hospital used to cause during my procedures . Dr. Sperling not only help put me at ease during my procedures but he helped me get better. I could not believe that he was able to complete the procedures without me even feeling any pain. I'm forever thankful to him and his team

I had an overall good experience with Dr. Sperling and his team. I received my treatment and was happy with the results. However he is quite arrogant and made fun of my Insurance (I have Medicaid). I thought it was inappropriate and kind of rude. Oh well.. Sorry to break the news, but not every patient is from wealthy upper class.

After seeing 6 different doctors I chose Dr. Sperling. He was probably the youngest looking doctor from the other but very knowledgeable, professional and attentive. He heard all my concerns and handled my pelvic congestion procedures. His bedside manners are exceptional and I am grateful for his confident expertise to resolve my problem. He'a excellent and his staff was great!!!!

I went I for a second opinion. Doctor scheduled a procedure. I showed up day of procedure only to find out the receptionist never scheduled the procedure...'it fell through the cracks'. Waited over two hours for them to try to get insurance company to approve. Was basically told they (the hospital and Doctor) would not eat the cost even though they were at fault. Why should I trust my health/body with a doctor/facility that does not take responsibility for their actions. They have lost a patient due to their inadequacy.

Loved his manner. Made me feel comfortable. Took time to address and answer all my questions.
