Dr. David Grant Stainbrook Jr, DO

First of all his staff are not friendly at all! No smiles or hello from them, just your name? I mean come on! It takes just a moment to say “hi how are you! “ The Doctor is just as abrasive. He gets an attitude if you question anything he says. I have never felt comfortable with him. I got a call from his office saying that he had a meeting to go to so I would have to reschedule my appointment and then a few days later, I received a letter saying that if I missed another appointment, he would not see me anymore. Needless to say, I found another doctor.

Dr. Stainbrook has helped me out so much and had diagnosed the type of arthritis I have. He is easy to talk to and always answers all my questions. I think he is an excellent Dr. and would recommend him to everyone.

This guy is so arrogant and abrasive. Won’t crack a smile. If you ask a question he gets smart with you! He may be a good dr (jury is out on this for now) but he needs some serious people skills.

I really loved Dr. Stainbrook! He took very good care of me. He listened to me, explained in detail questions that I had. Explained all my lab work. Has a wonderful bedside manner and I would recommend him to anyone with arthritis or lupus! That's what he treated me for. Unfortunately, he is no longer in Zanesville and I am struggling to find another doctor. He moved his practice to Columbus! Why do the good ones have to move away!

The one good thing Dr. Stainbrook has done was actually figure out what was wrong with me. I had been in constant pain with no diagnosis for several years. He shows no concern for my symptoms at all. Ive gone in with severe pain and he told me that according to my bloodwork i should not be in pain, that he waa doing his job in getting my levels right and it was up to me to figure out how to deal with the pain. His staff is wonderful, but i am not thinking very highly of this Dr

Dr. Stainbrook is an excellent physician. He is caring and very knowledgeable. Since my diagnosis in March, my life has improved tremendously. His staff is amazing. They care. I have my life back.Thanks Dr. Stainbrook.

I have been to see him more than once, his bedside manner is god awful, he is rude and abbrasive. He makes inappropriate comments in front of patients, such as telling them to their that instead of wasting his time with my follow-up appointments that I shouldn't see him anymore and go see the original physician that referred me to him. Apparently if your disease doesn't progress rapidly enough he isn't interested in caring for you any longer. He doesn't listen well at all to the symptoms that you give him when he wants an update. If you don't tell them fast enough his bedside manner get's worse. I wish he could visit himself and treat himself rude so he could see just how bad it feels to be treated in a bad way and disrepected. Maybe then he would get a clue. If you like bad bedside manners, and as few as 2 to 5 minutes spent with you in the room then this one is right up your alley.
