Dr. David F Steffy, MD

Dr. Steffy is hands-down the best internal medicine doctor in Reading. Having moved to the area from NYC where I worked at a major medical center and had access to any physician I needed, I would venture to say that Dr. Steffy is "as good as it gets!" On a personal level, he is personable, discreet, intellectual and a very pleasant, interesting individual of the highest morals. A chemist by undergraduate training, this man knows his stuff. He is very well read in all aspects of medicine and has never given advice on something he did not thoroughly understand. Also, he meets a patient where the patient is at in terms of what they are willing or not willing to do to take care of themselves.. His best quality as a doc, in my opinion, is that he is an excellent listener and an even better teacher--he brings the science to a layman's level. If you are fortunate enough to get this doc as your personal physician, you will be in excellent hands.
