Dr. David Hawkes Steiner, MD

I saw Dr.Steiner , not by choice. I had an apt to see Dr Granger. They put me with him unfortunately. He discounted my complaints ordered the wrong tests and told me to go see a shrink. I did but the two shrinks I saw said I was not crazy. After an agonizing delay I saw a competent neurosurgeon at LSU. I was scheduled for immediate three level ACDF because my spine was unstable. Due to the delay I was left with spinal cord damage. Dr Steiner was just mean to me. He took the time to write a six page letter implying I was crazy. He listed many evaluations and tests he had allegedly performed on me. None of these were done on me? I still wonder why he went out of his way to be so rude and nasty to me. It was one of the worst times in my life I was in pain and afraid, instead of comfort or relief I was mocked and turned away in tears. I really just wanted to see Dr Granger for a referral. Dr Steiner should retire if he does not want to help people.
