Dr. David M Stewart

Pediatric dentists deal exclusively with infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with special healthcare needs; and have advanced training in the particulars of pediatric dental issues. They could be viewed as the pediatricians of dentistry. After dental school, they receive two to three years of additional training including: child growth and development, anesthesia, and pharmacology. Their focus and additional training is on children and their unique needs. The practice of Dr. Stewart takes a holistic approach to treatment, meaning we are dedicated to the long-term oral health of your child. We accomplish this goal by involving children and getting them excited about the care of their teeth. We educate parents about oral hygiene techniques, diet recommendations, and the processes that they can do at home to help children obtain optimal oral health. Lastly, we gently treat any dental disease that may occur and work to prevent new disease from occuring.
