Dr. David Albert Stewart, MD

If I could give Dr. Stewart & his team more than 5 stars, I would! I've been a patient since 2017 & wish I could see him for any & all medical conditions! My concerns are always addressed & questions answered. He's even spent extra time when I've needed it! I've had 3 surgeries on my c-spine & I'm so grateful he's practicing! Now that Ashley's on board with the top notch angels on Earth that we call nurses, I know I've got a crew that help keep me living, working & thriving! I've even been able to enhance my education!

I have been seeing him since 2009 for spondyosis. Have had 2 spine surgeries since. I won't trust anyone else to give me an epidural. My meds are well managed and I'm treated like a human being. I am very thankful for him and his staff. His new PA Ashley is awesome too. She is very personable, like Karen was, and very friendly and supportive. Unfortunately I will be in pain management the rest of my life so I'm very blessed to have a great doctor who isn't a pill mill. I have never ever become addicted to my meds nor have I ever taken advantage of them. I am grateful I they help me function. I take my meds as I should and no more.

poor Communication Skills and Bedside Manners He the single most arrogant, dispassionate,dismissive and aloof "Md." I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. After a substantial wait time of 45 min of wait time was a waste trip and waste of my time. Arrogant, a person who talks at you, not to you, appears to have anger issues. He didn't't have to diagnois my condition but required me to give him the names , addresses, phone and fax numbers of every doctor that I'd seen from the past 12 years. SAID he didn't want my records cause I could have forged them. Wanted those doctor's to fax them to him, and he still was a terrible doctor. Faxed my own records anyway just to show him the records weren't forged. I' m looking for another doctor cause I just can't and won't deal with him.. Another thing... upon a doctor's appt he rushed you out.. even with an appt you had to wait 45 minutes before he saw you.Doesn't..''t give you time to ask questions. HE TALKS but doesn't,'t allow you to explain… anything. During one office visit.. I asked him why he was so rude because he asked me a question, as I was answering it, he was walking out of the room, leaving. He said that he was rude because he was through with this visit. Don't go to him..

I saw him twice. He wouldn't allow you to make your own decisions while under his care. At first treated you like you were a drug addict until he received your medical records. After he received them, he related to you as though you were a child, he was your parent and you do as he said. Has very poor social relationship with his patients. Never allowed you to ask questions and didn't want to hear what you had to say amount your treatment. He also bogusly charged my insurance company for me being in a car accident.. I have never been in an accident in my entire life! After seeing him the second time, I realized that I just couldn't do him.. I complained to Eastside Hospital, to no avail, so I got me another doctor!

I had been a patient for a few years and the care was very good. As time when on he became unbearable, questioning if the recent surgery was worth the pain. He also stated he could supply stronger medications, that would have me sitting at my TV dueling. He got upset with me when I questioned the new drug testing procedure. He stared into my eyes, stating the test you have been taking close to 3 times a year. I could continue with the botched facet block and nerve damage. The false appointment notes he was creating in my files. My last appointment had me with a pain score of an 8 and his refusal to offer any suggestions on managing the pain. If by chance you visit his practice be careful and remember, there are quite a few Pain Management Practices to select in Gwinnett County.

I've been seeing this doctor for a few years and NEVER had a problem until recently. I've always respected him as a doctor and all my visits were mostly great. In the past, I even confided in him about personal matters. To my surprise, that has all changed now. I did not see this coming! What he did to me was unprofessional and unethical. He spoke to me about a situation that was not accurate. When I asked to speak freely, he replied..NO! Once the situation was verified and considered to be a misunderstanding/words mistaken, I thought there was going to be an apology. It never happened. I don't know who this man is anymore! He's changed into this mean, arrogant, and disrespectfulness persona. Like a God complex! I don't feel safe in his presence and quite frankly, I'm afraid of him. I would not get the quality care I deserve if I stayed a patient of his.

My wife has not only fibromyalgia but also two other painful conditions. Unlike some of her other physicians Dr Stuart listens to her! During her first visit he asked her what medications have helped in the past. He takes time to explain and recommend treatments so that the patient understands what is going on. On behalf of my wife I recommend him highly.

He intimadatescand bullies his patients.Has no bedside manners, talks @ you, not to you, and is very abrasive to the point of verbally abusive. Never allows you to talk, but will dominate the conversation. Thinks everybody is a drug addict.

I have been most impressed by Dr. Stewart's approach to identify the source of my pain. Based on that, my care is not just try-a-pill approach. great staff. Thanks to all.
