Dr. David Eric Strang, MD

went in for shortness of breath was told that I’m attention seeking and I am faking my symptoms and that I need to save the resources for people who actually have asthma when I am diagnosed with asthma and that I’m just not happy because not he’s telling me what I want to hear. I was sent home because he said my test results were normal. after I saw the doctor, I cried for five hours and cried myself to sleep at 4 AM. he was extremely passive aggressive trying to start an argument with me at 1 AM in the emergency (i’m a 20 year old girl) he was so aggressive and rude with me. I started crying and didn’t stop. once I got home, I checked my test results and they were all red flagged as abnormal. my test results actually compute me into kidney failure. (40 point eGFR drop in 4 days as well as other related abnormal findings) hoping to see my PCP today I cried for five hours after seeing this doctor if he didn’t wanna be a doctor, he shouldn’t have been. there are plenty of people who want… to be a doctor and serve their community. so you can tell me, David was it attention seeking or was it acute kidney failure? I am truly so disgusted by the way I was treated by David it makes me nauseous and just want to cry again let’s just say it makes sense that every review is one star I plan to continue sharing this story once I know more about my diagnoses. no human should be treated the way he treated me. it’s absolutely disgusting and sickening and he makes the hospital and staffing look bad. what a disgrace. I plan to continue advocating for myself and sharing my story to raise awareness about the quality of person he is. as a healthcare professional and also a decent human I can safely say this is not how anyone should be treated EVER especially when being terrifyingly sick

I went to the Dr because I am a end stage renal dialysis patient and I get horrible cramps usually I go to Cody hospital but today I tried to make it home to take my pain medicine and I didn't make it . I usually go to Cody hospital and they treat me very respectful and take care of my acute pain and I go home and take my meds and rest . I went into the hospital Er and this Dr who I have never seen before tells me after I let him know what Cody does he accuses me of trying to get pain meds and THAT IS NOT WHAT I WAS DOING he refused to listen to me and got indignant . I WILL NEVER GO TO THE ER WITH HIM BEING THE SR AGAIN I suggest none else does either . He has no bed side manner at all

I have to agree that the previous review. Dr. Strang was impossible, I would urge anyone seeking emergency are to first call ahead if you have time to make sure HE is not on duty, again if time permits I would seek help at another hospital. A 3 year old has better listening ears. I found this Doctor to be very unprofessional and showed a lack of compassion and was down right abusive. You will not be giving the level of care you are expecting or deserve.
