Dr. David G Stricklin, MD

Every doctor I have ever took my family to at Lourdes has done an amazing job. That changed when he came in the room. Rude arrogant and walked out mid sentence. I would request Dr.Brantley or any other doctor besides him even in an emergency. I have never left a bad review about anyone in my life as that’s how bad he treated us. We may be farmers and not look like we have a dime but have never missed or been late on a payment to Lourdes. He definitely thought he was better than us. Wish I could leave zero stars. We need to pray for this man as I dunno why people act this way, no reason for it.

Dr Stricklin is an excellent doctor that cares and will use every resource possible to help his patients. It is so sad that he is working for Lourdes only. We miss him in his practice.

He thinks he is God, and has no respect for his patients or the families of his patients. This man will NEVER be allowed to see me or any of my family...EVER!! I would like to take his "pen" and shove it.

Arrogrant. Seems to be in a big hurry to get his copay. Does not listen. Has a god complex

I was very sick last year and went through 3 different Dr's. I am from St Louis and if you need your Dr that day they get you in. I could not find a Dr that would do that, and I was forced to go to ER's and sit for hours. If I call Dr Stricklins office even for just a question they ask if I would like to see the Dr and make me an appt for that day. He is blunt and to the point, so if you want a Dr to mottle cottle, then he is not for you. But if you want a Dr to be honest and care then go see him.

My elderly mothers long term doctor retired and she chose Stricklin. She was declining very quickly and his answer was, "I'll see you in 3 months"...it didn't look as if she had 3 more months! Thank goodness we got her to a competent doctor who is treating her congestive heart failure (Stricklin never mentioned) and making her more comfortable. When I asked Stricklin about getting her oxygen--he replied,"She wouldn't qualify and it's too expensive"....well, she MORE than qualified and is resting more comfortably thanks to someone who bothered to care. Thanks for nothing Stricklin!

He was rude. I thought it was just me but it is not. I think he may know what he is doing but you still have to put up with his personality.

Very inflated ego. Very abusive manner. Condescending and pompous. Has misdiagnosed and when another doctor corrected him he became very nasty! Not for me-I'd rather be ill than see him.

Rude, uncaring, pompous... easy ways to describe Dr. Striklin. I have heard him brag to other physicians about "chewing out a nurse" at the local hospitals. When asked to sign a form for free medications he told me that he can afford his medications and if I could not afford mine... well that is my problem, I am a doctor not a pharmacist. Whatever happened to compassion. Perhaps he was born without the gene. If you find yourself with the misfortune of having him assigned to you as your physician, I would recommend you fire him immediately. His head is so far up in the clouds of self-importance, I doubt he will be able to see you, much less accurately diagnose and treat you. In my opinion, this community would be better off without him.

Self-centered son of a not so nice thing. Arrogant, talks about patients behind their backs -- an altogether classic JERK. Need i say more? I would love to, but will refrain. I would not take my dog to him.
