David L. Swanson, D.D.S.
Dr. Swanson grew up in Lincoln, NE and graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School_ He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1986 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry. He practiced in Colorado Springs, CO from 1986-1996. In 1996, Dr. Swanson moved back to Nebraska and purchased a practice in North Platte, where he has been practicing ever since.
Dr. Swanson is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Nebraska Dental Association, and Northwest District Dental Society. He is the current President of the Nebraska Academy of General Dentistry. The AGD is an organization devoted to continuing education, and Dr. Swanson has amassed over 600 hours of continuing education in all areas of dentistry.
Dr. Swanson's community involvement includes Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club, North Platte Rotary, North Platte …Country Club Board of Directors, and North Platte Chamber Ambassadors. He enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and travel. He and his wife Lori have two children, Alex and Sophie.
