Dr. David Walter Terhune, MD

Dr. Terhune is one of those doctors that knows how to treat the whole patient not just the area of expertise (urology) he practices. He really cares about the patient he is treating and works hard to do all that he can to provide dignified care. He is a good listener, careful, and helps to keep a patient on track to recovery. He is a doctor that you know is not in it for anything but to be a service to others. He is very humble, honest, takes time with you, answers your questions whether big or small, and has the right humor or words that help a patient in building trust and a collaborative nature in development of a plan. You really feel part of the plan which is so important to getting results. I have highly recommend him.

Dr. Terhune is an excellent doctor who takes time with patients and is careful with treatment plans. He is very good about listening and understands that the patient is a person will feelings that need to be acknowledged. You feel as if he is a family member. He knows his field well and but his humble, kind, and very calm. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Terhune really takes the time to listen to his patients and pinpoint and alleviate the problem. He is incredibly kind and that is especially rare for specialized physicians. I am so incredibly thankful for him !

He is a doctor who knows how to both do his job well and how to deal with patients in a professional way with excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend him because it is difficult to find doctors who are skilled in both of these areas. Some know how to do their job well but do not have people skills. You have to possess both to be an excellent doctor. Dr. Terhune has both skills which makes him a valuable doctor to the patients he serves. We need more like him. Sometimes you have to wait but that is because he takes time with his patients and truly listens to you.

A Good Doctor and friend.

I have recommend this doctor to some of my relatives, friends and neighbors. Dr. Terhune in my opinion is one of the best of the best. He saved my life. 15 years, I fell about 22 ft. out of a tree. I broke my ribs, and pelvis. Went to the hospital and also found I had bladder cancer!!! The worse day of my life. That was the day I met Dr. Terhune. All these years Dr. Terhune saw me for testing, to make sure cancer was not active. For many years I was cancer free. Then like some cancers, it re-occurred. So I returned and he took care of me again. I hope I never have to use another Urologist. I not only consider him my doctor, I consider him my friend.

doctors are under staffed for the amount of patients. you feel like a part on a conveyor belt ready to be pushed out the door. poor prostate exam. does not examine your outer pelvic walls for prostatis. went through many months of un-necessary pain due to poor exam and evaluation. my prostate exam was 7 seconds max. does not seem to think patients feed back is important. would not recommend to any one. i think you dr terhune lost your love for being a medical doctor.

YOU ARE 2 BUSY FOR YOUR PATIENTS, PATIENTS ARE BEING SHIPPED OUT OF THE OFFICE LIKE THEY WERE ON AN ASSSEMBLY LINE. TO MANY PATIENTS, WITH INADEQUATE DR. STAFF. POOR FOLLOW-UP,POOR CARE!!!!!
