Great Doctor and I would highly recommend him!

After my husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer and was told that his kidney would need to be removed, we sought a second opinion with Dr. Thiel. Because of his skill and and expertise, he was able to remove the cancer and leave 60% of my husbands kidney intact. My husband spent one night at the Mayo and was able to resume normal activity after 6 weeks with no complications. Dr. Thiel is simply the best at what he does, and he is a genuinely nice guy. He took the time to explain all of our options including the risks. We felt like he truly cared about us and made this cancer scare less scary. He’s an exceptional doctor and human being.

After a charlotte , nc urologist told me my only problem was old age, I went to Mayo Jacksonille to see Dr.Thiel. With 30 minutes in examination, he discovered that I had bladder cancer. He did the surgery promptly, and I am alive and happy 7 years later. He also found that I had an enlarged prostrate, and did the "Turp" procedure which has worked fine. I am very fortunate to have found the BEST.

Dr. Thiele is the best of the best. Both of my surgeries were done in an excellent manner, and Dr. Thiele was a very pleasant doctor to communicate. I will see no one else.
