Dr. David Bartley Thrower, DO

Why is Bev Thrower so utterly rude????Maybe she needs some medication. Dr. Thrower are you wondering what's wrong with your practice? Stand aroundthe corner and listen to your wife talkto patients.If she can't speak in a civil manner she should STAY HOME!

Dr. Thrower has been my primary physician for about twenty years. Not only are my appointments never rushed, but I sometimes feel guilty for using too much of his valuable time. He continues to study and stays current with advances in health care and will give whatever it takes to make an honest diagnosis and partner with you to help you get and stay healthy. As for the office help, a warm smile and kind hello will net the same. Sometimes responses are a reflection of our own opinions and attitudes.

Dr. Thrower takes the time to do very thorough diagnoses. He is very knowledgeable and I have found his recommendations to be very effective. He strives to provide the simplest and lowest cost remedies and my experience has been that these work.

This doctor takes much time with his patients. I think previous comments about his staff are unfair. I've always been treated courteously and have witnessed the front desk staff put up with some real jerks. Enforcing office policy must be a thankless job.

How can someone so genuinely caring and kind (Doc) be married to someone so utterly rude and annoying (receptionist)? That's the paradigm that is Doc Thrower's office. To me its worth stomaching her to see him.

Dr. Throwers staff/wife/receptionist is very rude and needs some compassion and people skills. Tried to set up a pre-op physical for a patient to have emergency eye surgery and she flat out said no, "do it yourself", "it's spring break and we don't have time". Be thankful this is not your doctor because you could be blind and be thankful she is not your wife!!

The doctor is great. The nurse practitioner is okay. His wife runs the front desk and can be extremely rude sometimes.

Dr. Thrower has a very good manner and is kind and polite. Unfortunately, his staff are not the same. Medical biller is poor and can never remember that I am a patient. Nurse/Physician Assistant is curt and needs some people skills.

Dr. Thrower is amazing. He definitely became a doctor because he cares about people and has a natural desire to help. He is always willing to spend extra time and effort to help you with whatever your ailment is. You never feel the rush of an HMO doctor. His front office staff is short and less than empathetic. That is the only area I would say needs help. I would suggest extra training in that area.
