Dr. David Bruce Tick, MD

Terrific small, patient care oriented practice that is a significant departure from the usual, unfriendly and difficult to navigate corporate medicine encountered in the big local hospital owned systems. This practice is friendly, easy to navigate, and very efficient. Terrific quality of care!

My wife and I came to Dr. Tick when our former physician rather suddenly and unexpectedly left the area. We had been patients with a large hospital owned medical group for about ten years, constantly being bounced from doctor to doctor to nurse practitioner to physician's assistant in an unending merry-go-round of new names and faces. When we came to Dr. Tick's office we felt like we had found a true physician for the very first time in a many years. Dr. Tick's approach is cordial but compulsive, serious, methodical, and detail oriented. His ability to both listen and hear what we tell him, focus on the key elements, and quickly and accurately determine the underlying problems is uncanny. Dr. Tick displays an amazing breadth of knowledge across the entire spectrum of health and disease, yet conducts himself with compassion and empathy no longer in evidence in the large, hospital owned clinics. The results speak for themselves. Both my wife and I agree that thanks to Dr. Tick, we… are in the best health we have been in for many years.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. He has no patient communication skills. He talks in a very condescending and belittled tone. He was on the computer for several minutes without saying a word to me.

Took my daughter with a muriad of seemingly unrelated problems to "specialists" for the past 16 years. Dr. Tick told us which test to have one of her specialists run and, bingo, he got it right the first time. Wish we had met him 16 years ago! He has a genetic background which prooved invaluable in finally getting a diagnosis for my daughter.

Dr. Tick approves of homeopathic remedies. That alone should be enough to dissuade any potential patient who cares about medical science. The fact is that Homeopathy is snake oil and any doctor who believes in its use is a disgrace to the medical profession. Avoid Dr. Tick and seek medical care elsewhere.

Amazing doctor! Accesible. Takes sufficient time. Seems to have incredible experience. Seems to have sixth sense for finding the correct diagnosis and options for solution. Very prevention oriented. Professional but friendly.

Good doctor, but quite opinionated. Very bullish on vaccinations, less enthusiastic about nutritional supplements. Tends to preach too much about nutrition. Can be a turn off.
