Dr. David William Todd, MD

My husband had three extractions done yesterday. He is doing extremely well. No pain today. Procedure was done quickly with no discomfort. Dr. Todd and staff were fantastic. Would absolutely recommend this practice. In fact our daughter will be having an extraction next week.

As always the office staff is very helpful and professional. All questions are answered in a most polite way. Dr. Todd is very experienced in his profession and is always compassionate with his patients. I recommend Dr. Todd as a great oral surgeon in southwestern New York state.

Dr. Todd and his staff are the best! I will soon have my fourth oral surgery experience with Dr. Todd. These include wisdom teeth removal, two separate dental implant procedures and now a third dental implant which will require bone reconstruction and sinus augmentation. At 61 years of age, I have had many bad experiences with multiple other dentists and now suffer from severe anxiety. Dr. Todd understands this and works with me. Ask me if I am nervous about this next surgery? Not even a little bit. I know the pre-op and post-op experience will be fantastic; I am in good hands.

My very recent experience with Dr.Todd and his fantastic staff is one I am so eternally grateful for. I am new to the area and found myself desperately needing a large cyst removed from inside my jawline. Not only did Dr Todd’s staff get me in and Dr Todd himself worked me into his surgery schedule, they took such fantastic care of me through the entire process. At 59 I have seen a few Doctor’s in my life, but Dr Todd’s surgical expertise combined with his compassion and the entire staff’s kindness and professionalism made this experience one I will always be grateful for and I highly recommend Dr Todd for anyone at any age. Thank you Dr Todd and your entire FANTASTIC staff!?

I can’t recommend Dr. Todd’s office enough! They removed my son’s wisdom teeth and it was a fantastic experience. The procedure went perfectly and he had almost no swelling. The team at Dr. Todd’s made him feel comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend Dr. Todd!

After being greeted by a friendly office staff, within 5 minutes I was introduced to Dr. Todd. I was in for a wisdom tooth extraction. After an initial consult, I received the surgery. All went well and recovered very quickly. So much so, I was able to go to Starbucks a couple hours after my procedure. Dr. Todd is an amazing doctor, very personable, and great bedside manner. All around 5 star rating in every aspect!

We took our son to Dr. Todd for his wisdom teeth. Dr. Todd did an excellent job in the previsit explaining what to expect for the surgery and recovery. Our son's surgery went smoothly and his recovery quick without much pain at all. The experience was exactly what we had hoped for the procedure, and we took our daughter to him a couple years later for her wisdom teeth. Highly recommend Dr. Todd.

My experience with Dr. Todd was less than desirable. I'm writing this review because I researched him before I went and I couldn't find anything good or bad about him and I wish someone would have warned me not to go. I recently just found out I had an extra wisdom tooth that was causing me pain and needed removing. My dentist first referred me to Dr. Todd. I waited a month for my appointment on Nov. 30, during which they took a set of CRAZY EXPENSIVE 3D X-rays that were not needed because my dentist had included a set in my referral. They doctor came for 5 minutes, looked my my mouth for 10 seconds, and told me that in "his experience" extra wisdom teeth usually don't cause any trouble and that I should see my medical doctor. But if I really wanted him to take it out, he would. With that he gave me a "cold fish" hand shake and left the room. I was shocked. The aide looked at me and asked if I wanted the surgery or not (I told her yes, but later cancelled). He made me feel very… stupid for even showing up. I was in some serious pain and this surgeon just told me I was basically faking it. The other main reason I'm writing this review is because I JUST NOW got this huge bill in the mail from Dr. Todd. A month later. I got charged for an "exam" (and I use that word lightly) and the unnecessary X-rays that they made me believe I needed. Those two things cost me more than half of the price of my actual surgery from Dr. Palo, were talking way north of $250! I wish someone would have told me about him and his practice before I made the appointment. I would have saved a lot of money and time. Side note: I eventually ended up seeing Dr. Palo in Erie (he's great!) who was satisfied with X-rays my dentist sent and he was super supportive and just all around a great guy.
