Dr. David Tyler is the best! I have bipolar disorder I have been to sixteen psychiatrists. I finally had a breakthrough under Dr. Tyler's amazing care. God bless!

I went to Dr. Tyler for 30 years, after hearing him give a speech at UT Southwestern. He knows his stuff. I would continue to see him if I could afford his $200/hour fee.

Dr. Tyler is extremely sharp and professional. He is able to see through the often complex and sometimes contradicting symptoms of a psychiatric patient and give him/her a correct diagnosis when all the other doctors have failed. It is hard to get an appointment with him though since he is very busy. Still, it is well worth the efforts.

if you follow his plan. it is 100% guarantee you will be able to deal with your bipolar disorder. if you don't follow his plan don't waste his time!

Anyone could go in his office with an ingown tonail and would come out with the diagnosis of B-Polar. He hands out medications without telling the side effects. He has a God Complex.He just loves to try all the new meds, even if the side effects are more dangerous than being depressed. He is also crazy about ECT. Bet he never had one. Do not trust this guy. He uses people as lab animals to try new drugs. I say if you are looking for a new doctor and someone refers you to Dr.Pill Pusher, I say RUN don't walk away to find another doctor unless you like changing meds and talking to a highly dangerous doctor.

In 2004, this doctor completely missed the diagnosis of my 16-year old daughter by deciding she was bipolar (manic-depressive). He was of no help at all over a 5-month period. It's 7 years later and she's fine now. There never was any mania to support a manic depression diagnosis. She was just suffering from depression caused by some temporary social issues. He also used the "F word" at least twice in front of both of us. Hardly professional. I heartily disagree with the reviewer that described him as "extremely talented." I saw no "talent" at all.

Dr. Tyler is extremely talented both in the diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders. He is also very busy, and doesn't have as much time for patients as he used to. Still, probably the top doctor in this area for over 20 years.
