About Dr.Underwood
Dr. Underwood is a lifelong resident of Jackson Township. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1968, received
his Bachelor of Science from Baldwin Wallace College in 1972, and then his DDS from Ohio State University College of Dentistry
in 1975. Then, he headed off to Virginia Beach where he was a dentist in the United States Navy for two years.
He opened the doors to his practice in March of 1978 and has been in the same location since. His practice may be
almost 30 years old, but Dr. Underwood has kept up with the times. In 2001the interior of the office was demolished,
redesigned and equipped to provide patients with the comfort and technology they expect and deserve. He not only has
kept his office current but also has kept himself current with the latest dental procedures and technologies available.Â
He has extensive training and experience in cosmetic and restorative treatments. He is a member of the American Dental
Association, Ohio Dental …Association and Stark County Dental Society.Â
Dr. Underwood married his high school
sweetheart, who also attended Jackson High School and they have been married for 35 years. They have four children and
currently have seven grandchildren. He spends his free time with his family, and for relaxation dabbles in wood-working,
gardening and reading.
