I love Dr Vallance. He is patient, listens well and truly tries to help his patients.

MOST COMPASSIONATE DOCTOR

I love Dr Vallance and Chris (nurse practitioner) and have been going to Vallance for almost 20 years but as of 2018 their staff is absolutely horrible! They don’t answer the phone, don’t return calls and completely ignore things like requests for prior authorization submissions etc... Something needs changed. It’s ridiculous!

Front desk staff requires training in how to interact with patients and maintain call logs. Getting an answer to a question out of them is like pulling teeth and nobody wants to admit when a mistake was made and will continue going in circles with their "answers" to avoid being wrong. Just admit you dropped the ball and move on so a real solution can be made.

Dr. Vallance is very kind and compassionate. I have worked in the medical field for 35 yrs, and have yet to meet a physician that has the qualities Dr. Vallance has. His bedside manner is top notch. I have been a patient of his for several years. He never once appeared to be in a hurry, and spends necessary time needed to answer questions. I highly recommend him. I only wish his office was closer to Jackson, so many others could be blessed with his care. His office staff is awesome too! Keep up the great work Dr. Vallance and staff!

Dr. Vallance is a great listener. He takes all of my disparate symptoms and makes sense of them, then adjusts my medications and explains why the changes will help. He gives me credit for having a brain that is functional. As the years go by, I appreciate that more and more.

Dr. Vallance is an amazing doctor. The only complaints I have is that I have to come after work so he's always behind and I have never waited less than an hour. Another problem is trying to reach office staff and having them call back. Currently, I've phoned three times over the last week and have not heard back.

A great physician. Dr. Vallance spends time with each patient, making sure to answer all questions before you leave. He always prints out a summary of the visit and any recommendations.

Very knowledgeable, current, thoughtful, thorough, patient. Willing to examine all relevant issues to make diagnosis. Takes time to listen and runs over the allotted time, if necessary. Broad understanding of pharmaceutical and nutritional treatments. While he gives an opinion, Dr. Vallance is nonjudgemental of dietary/nutritional approaches a patient might be interested in. 5 star.

Dr. David Vallance is the most incredible doctor that I have ever had. I was 17 when I fell gravely ill. I had symptoms all across the board, and none of the doctors and Mayo or Cleveland Clinic had any clue what was wrong with me. I saw over 10 different doctors in the Ann Arbor area alone, and none of them could find an answer. During my first appointment with Dr. Vallance, he examined me, talked with me about my symptoms for at least an hour, and then took out a pad and pen and wrote down a couple of diseases he thought it could be. Lupus was the first one. I had absolutely no evidence that I was sick in my bloodwork, urine, or MRI. Many of the doctors I saw before him had considered lupus, but then brushed it aside when the tests came back negative. I've been seeing Dr. Vallance for two years now and just as he predicted in our first session together, I finally tested positive for lupus. He is the only doctor I trust. He is compassionate, considerate, and extremely… persistent in his search for a diagnosis. However, it's his ability to have such an open mind that truly makes him a great doctor.
