Was hoping to get DBS for my son's treatment resistant OCD. Was going fine until we had to speak with Lori - his coordinator. Super unprofessional and would not return my calls. Days went by, finally reached her, she said she just did not have the time to call me back. Wow...super unprofessional. We're taking our business elsewhere. Huge red flag. Time wasted, but thankful we did not proceed there. Go elsewhere.

Dr. Vansickle operated on a large. life-threatening hydrocephalic cyst in my husband's brain. There was an unexpected and rare situation that immediately presented--an extra 4th canal where there should have only been 3. This made entry into the brain much more difficult, but since Dr. Vansickle is a brilliant surgeon, he was able to handle it even though he'd never encountered it before. My husband has completely recovered and is better than ever. We are convinced Dr. Vansickle saved his life and feel grateful that he was the one in the operating room. I don't even want to think about what would have happened had we had a lesser surgeon.

Dr. David VanSickle performed DBS on my husband. Now He has few tremors, no dyskinesia, he walks better and takes less medicine. His mind is clear. Dr. VanSickle is caring and listens to our questions.. I highly recommend Dr. VanSickle.

Dr Vansickle is a miracle in scrubs. I’ve had both DBS surgery for Parkinson’s and an anterior lumbar spinal fusion by Dr V and cannot say enough about his unmatched surgical skill. He is very friendly and explains things in terms I can understand. He spends enough time with me at every visit to answer all my questions and address each and every concern. I’ve whole heartedly recommend Dr David Vansickle to my family and friends for any neurological concerns. He is truly The Best.

Great surgeon !!! He has taken care of all of my issues and I would recommend him to anyone needing a neurosurgeon !! I am still recovering at the moment, but I am very grateful to have been able to receive the work that I needed done. Thank you !!!

Dr Vansickle performed a very successful spinal Laminectomy on me in May of 2018. When my husband and I met him we found him to be very friendly. He showed me my mri and explained to us what the procedure entails. He was very forthcoming about his background, and surgery/Hospital stats. We both thought he was fantastic and very qualified to do the surgery. We found the staff at South Denver Neurology to be responsive in all the facets of the process. The surgery went well and I look forward to golf this fall! Littleton Hospital was also easy to work with. I liked the smaller venue and didn’t feel like I got lost in the mix. Post op now 4 months and I am doing great. I did have a couple times I needed to contact the office and am please to report I have received excellent care from the front desk, nurses, the PA, and the Doc. Sometimes When reading these reviews I think some people feel like the surgeon has to be like their primary doctor and be attached at the hip. A surgeon is… the fixer. They do not need to be your best friend. Just sayin.

Got wrong diagnosis for my neck pain and so a different docotr had to fix the problem after six months

Dr VanSickle is the most kind and compassionate doctor I have ever met. He is also leading the way in innovation for DBS surgery. He was my neurosurgeon for DBS and my results are miraculous. I have my life back and I am so grateful.
