Dr. David H Webb

We used to see Randy Webb up on 94th South. Everything started to go downhill when Randy retired and his brother David took over his patients. Then David brought his son Mathew into the practice and started pulling bait and switches, redirecting patients who had appointments with him to his inexperienced son. Awful experiences followed. Crowns came unglued after a year or two, family members had to return with fillings that weren't properly finished the first time. One time, my son went in for a simple cleaning and the young Mathew asked if he was ready to have that tooth pulled. The dental assistant had to tell him the boy was just there for a cleaning. Another time, we called the office about a filling my son had gotten that had been left with a burr on the edge, and we were told we could either bring him back in to get it fixed or smooth it out ourselves with a nail file. We once got a phone message mentioning my wife by name, saying her dentures were ready. Only problem was, she… was not getting dentures; she still had all her own teeth. Next, Mathew Webb started calling our home personally, leaving frantic messages offering free cosmetic dentistry to my son to fix that terrible gap. Only trouble was, my son had no gap; his teeth were completely well aligned. Turned out Mathew was working on his certification and was desperate to lure in anyone he could to perform completely unnecessary cosmetic dentistry on so his board examiners could certify him. The final straw was the second time I prematurely lost a crown Mathew had installed and his father had the audacity to bill me for reattaching it, arguing it was normal for crows to fall out after a year or two! I have never since returned to that creepy, creepy place. It looks like David has now retired and junior has hooked up with a couple other dentists and renamed the practice "Simply Dental." Simply is right, and I don't want simpletons messing around in my mouth.
