Dr. David Mark Weinberg, MD

I was seen by David Weinberg, MD 3 weeks ago due to having palpitations, high blood pressure, fast heart rate and chest pain. Although I am a healthy and active person, heart disease runs in my paternal side of the family. The doctor came in my room, introduced himself and sat down at least 25 feet away from me as if I was contagious or ill. As he asked about my cardiac symptoms, I told him l've been feeling all the symptoms above everyday for the past 2 weeks. The doctor, smirked, nodded his head & laughed at me replying, "only 2 weeks?" I felt humiliated and disappointed that a doctor would react unprofessionally like this. Every time he asked about my medical history, he would come back with a rude response to add. When asked about my activity level, I told the doctor I weight train 5 days a week since I can't run long distances anymore due to arthritis on my left knee. When asked about my past surgeries, I reported gastric sleeve in 2020. His response was, "oh so you've struggled… with obesity all your life!" I have not struggled with obesity all my life and am not obese now. There was nothing positive I could say about this doctor. I am disappointed and do not wish to be treated by him anymore. It was my 1st and last time treated by him! I did obtain a holter heart monitor to wear for 48 hours and will await my results.

I have been a patient of Dr. Weinberg for 15 years. He is a very informative, professional and competent Physician. One of the top Cardiologist in all of Southern California. In addition, Dr. Weinberg has a wonderful staff, serving his patients with the utmost professionalism.
