He attended Towson State University at Baltimore, Maryland and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 1983, he completed Orthodontic Specialist training at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY. Since 1985, Dr Wemmer has been creating beautiful smiles at two practice locations in Okeechobee and Vero Beach, Florida. In March of 2004, Wemmer Family Orthodontics opened a third location in Sebastian. Dr Wemmer and his wife, Patricia, have three daughters, Jennifer, Ann and Christina and five beautiful grandchildren. Dr. Wemmer resides in Okeechobee and enjoys tennis, basketball and hiking. He is also an avid Florida Gator football and basketball fan.
