Bad Dr

I saw Dr. West during a 7-week time-frame for a broken metatarsal. His staff was wonderful. Wait time was minimal. I appreciate Dr. West taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and the treatment options. Highly recommended.

Having Dr. West as my surgeon for my ACL and MCL surgery was the best decision! He was amazing throughout the whole process and so was his staff. I was very scared because I had never had surgery before and I was worried I wouldn't be able to be very physically active post surgery. Dr. David West put my worries at ease, made me comfortable and he was very professional. I am now up and running and again and my knee is stable and strong. I would definitely recommend West Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.

My experience with Dr. West has been terrific! ACL surgery went quite well; so too the recovery process. What I appreciate most, though, is that both he and especially his staff have been nothing but straight-forward throughout the entire process. They are refreshingly honest and respectful of my time.

While in the hospital I meet Dr. West I had to have surgery. I had to ask would I ever walk again. He said yes I followed his instructions. Yes I can walk again without assistance. Him and his staff I thank God for them.

He didn't sugarcoat what needed to be done. He was straight forward with me. He performed lateral stabilization surgery on my ankle. My stability is great and the pain is moderate. I recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery or consulting.

This so called Dr. Is an absolute hack and should not be practicing any more. He has completely sold out to the insurance companies and does not have the people in his best interest. This hack lied to my wife and I before surgery about what he did as well as lied strait to my face after surgery. He is more concerned about what the insurance company thinks then he does about the well being of his patient's. This hack cut me open and did not fix the issue, leaving me in just about the same situation if not worse then before surgery. After having my second opinion I found out just how much of a hack Dr. West is. When another well known Dr. In nashville looks at your scar and says I've never seen one like that, you know it's a problem. I'm a workmans comp case, so maybe he treats regular insurance people differently but if you are workmans comp DO NOT ACCEPT TREATMENT FROM THIS HACK. Looking for others with similar experiences with him, so we can take him down.

I went to see this guy for shoulder problems. XRAYS and MRIs were done. This Doctor's conclusion was it was just arthritis. Pushed for giving me a shot for pain. I insisted this would do nothing, that I wanted to fix what is wrong. He got very animated and almost walked out on me angrily. I finally agreed to the shot. 2 days later I was hurting again. He said pain relief would last for weeks. I decided to get a second opinion from ortho surgeon at Vanderbilt, Dr. Kuhn. He stated my labrum was torn, my upper bicep was shredded, and that the arthritis was particularly bad at AC joint and a cut into the bone to provide more of a gap may be needed. He strongly recommended surgery. Had the surgery, he found an inch long shard of cartilage floating loose in my shoulder and everything else was as he had determined prior to surgery. Dr. West was massively wrong, his attitude was argumentative and hostile, and I got the impression he didn't bother to examine the test images. The clinic,… furthermore, is totally tailored to suit work comp insurance cases tilted in favor of the insurance and against the patients. My case was not work comp related but I recognized all the signs and how paperwork was designed. If you are a work comp patient stay the heck away from this guy and this clinic. This guy is a complete jerk and a hack.

I don't know where this dr came from but he needs professional help not sure if he has license and how he became a dr

Horrible! Rude, disrespectful, worst than before surgery! Run!!!
