I am so happy with my decision to choose Dr. Whiteman. The woman at the front desk who's name I forgot was so helpful in scheduling the appointments over the phone and finding me a time that works. Jackie explained the costs and general timeline perfectly and was so friendly. Dr. Whiteman took the time to answer all of my questions and was very reassuring because I was very nervous. He helped me to choose the procedure that was perfect for me as an individual and told me the risks and benefits for each option. I could not be any happier with my results and the happiness and confidence I feel after having my procedure was worth every penny

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Whiteman and his team at Southern Plastic Surgery! From the first consultation through all my follow-ups, they have treated me so great and made me feel super comfortable throughout my process! Dr. Whiteman is so knowledgeable about all the latest techniques to make your surgery a breeze and give you AMAZING results. My tummy tuck and breast lift scars are super flat and barely noticeable and I am only 4 weeks post-op! I would recommend Dr. Whiteman to anybody and will be seeing him for all my future needs!

David Whiteman is a surgical god. At my initial consultation, we sat down and talked about my goals. He really listened to what I was saying, then he took some measurements, and we formulated a plan that was right for me. At this visit, I was most impressed with his level of professionalism. His office staff was bright, friendly, and unpretentious. You see, I had already had a consult with another Atlanta surgeon, and I had even scheduled surgery with her. During the time between that pre-op and surgery day, I had two friends tell me that they were not happy with their experiences with her. Even though she refused to refund my deposit, I cancelled, and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Whiteman’s consultation was on another level completely – he and Beth (MA) were much more thorough, taking measurements, etc, which is something that the other surgeon never did. Until I met Dr. Whiteman, I was in the dark about what a real surgery consultation was supposed to be like. He thoroughly… explained risks/benefits (rather than just having me read them on a tablet), told me what to expect through every phase, and when I left the appointment, I was confident that I had made the right decision in choosing him for my surgery. The operation went smoothly (at a small hospital with attentive staff), and I received the same level of care at my post-op visits as I did on day one. I knew precisely what to expect as I recovered, so there were never any grey areas of confusion. Now, six weeks later, I am LOVING my results. I feel that I look the way I am “supposed to--” the way I told Dr. Whiteman I wanted to look. He gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, and I am so comfortable in my skin now. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Whiteman over the other surgeon. I would choose him again and again. He is a phenomenal surgeon, a good person, and also a really nice guy.

I've been seeing Dr Whiteman for over 20 years. I don't live in Atlanta anymore, but because he is so good, I fly there if I need to have additional procedures done.

So happy with this surgeon, his entire staff, the results from my surgery and the care I’m receiving! I chose Dr Whiteman after visiting three other surgeons as I was searching for someone to correct a problem I had with 10 year old breast implants put in by another surgeon. He patiently listened and answered all of my questions and concerns. He came highly recommended by my GYN Dr as well. Five weeks post surgery and I’m beyond happy with the results! I came to Dr. Whiteman overwhelmed after just hearing I had breast cancer. He took his time explaining the procedures. I felt much better when I left my appointment. After a double masectomy, chemo and radiation, Dr. Whiteman did my reconstruction surgery. He went above and beyond what I expected. He had almost nothing to work with and he did a beautiful job! I went to see Dr. Whiteman for a lift. Did not want implants or large breasts. Was a size A. He said I needed implants to help lift the breasts and suggested a low profile 380cc implants. When I "tried" them on, I felt that they were way too large, but he insisted that once they were placed under muscle, they would be full B - C and in proportion to my body. I ended up with a 32DDD with side boob because of the low profile implant. He suggested the side boobs were a result of my anatomy and offered to fix them. I waited a year to have them re-done and again told him I simply wanted lifted, perky breasts, not oversized breasts. I trusted his opinion and ended up with 32DD. Although I was not charged for his time, I did have to pay for the new implants, the OR, the anesthesiologist and supplies, roughly $5000.00...not pocket change. He did not do a lift with the second surgery, so I ended up with breasts that sagged more than when I went in. In my opinion, he does not listen… to what the patient wants. I'm now in process of looking for a skilled surgeon to take out implants and remove excess skin. Do your research and insist on the result you want.

I have been a patient of Dr. David Whiteman for over 10 years. I met Dr. David Whiteman at age 17 for a breast reduction due to health reasons from my doctor. My mother completely trusted him. Dr. David Whiteman did such a great job that I came back to him years later for a complete Mommy Makeover. It was customized to my liking once I spoke with Dr. David Whiteman. I got a Tummy Tuck+ Lipo to the abdomen+breast reduction+back lipo w/ fat transfer to the buttocks. I was very nervous about the amount of surgery I was receiving all at once however Dr. David Whiteman and his assistant, Jackie was very informative and encouraging all the way up to recovery! I received a diet plan after surgery from Dr. David Whiteman based on my weight loss goals and LOST EVEN MORE WEIGHT!! I recently came back for a revision. I got a revision to scar on Abdomen and breast+tummy tuck + backlift+skin removal underarms because of how much weight I lost from my previous surgery! Needless to say, I am… extremely happy with my results so far! My friends and family already see a difference!! I would highly recommend Dr. David Whiteman to anyone!! Look no further you found your doctor!

Horrible job on breast. Multiple visits and just makes excuses. Doesn’t listen and brings in rude nurse. Botched job and refuse to fix.

After having 3 kids in 3 years, I had a Mommy Makeover with repair of an abdominal hernia and severe diastasis recti done two weeks ago. I had a breast augmentation done 13 years ago and the scars from that were pretty ugly and really effected my self-esteem. Not only did Dr. Whiteman make my tummy look amazing, but he fixed the scars from my previous surgery. The first time I saw myself after surgery, I cried because I finally felt beautiful.
