Dr. David Michael Whittiker, MD

My wife and I were patients for more than five years. Regardless of the medical problem, including immediate concerns like knee injuries, the first available appointment is always a month away at best. The staff is generally rude. The lab also uses the outdated thyroid test range, which was revised in 2002, so good luck getting proper thyroid treatment if you aren't aware of this from your own research.The final straw was trying to get an appointment after the death of our daughter. I was looking for antidepressants and a referral to a counselor. First I was told the earliest he could see me was five weeks away. Then, because I don't have health insurance and had a physical last year from another doctor out of state, who charges $100s less for basic lab tests, they told me he has a policy of never allowing patients to see other doctors. In other words, if you see another doctor, you are banned for life. (What?!)Great compassion. I've seen a lot of doctors in my life--in four states… over four decades, and this guy and his office are the worst, hands down. Not recommended.

No real problem with Dr. Whittiker but his nurse and the scheduling staff at Family Practice Assoc. are extremely rude and very unprofessional and Dr. Whittiker by virtue of his acceeding to this unprofessionalism is also guilty of it

Very good diagonistic physician, caring and does referrals, if needed.
