Dr. David Widman, MD

Dr. Widman and his staff were very attentive and took the time to listen and explain.

Dr. Widman diagnosed my rheumatoid arthritis when other doctors I'd seen did not. Unfortunately the delay in being correctly diagnosed ( age-related, carpal tunnel, maybe Lyme disease, etc.) resulted in deformities and reduced mobility in my hands. Dr. Widman instinctively knew what I had at our first appointment. He quickly took away my pain, got me on the right meds, and stopped the progression of the RA. I am doing much better and am relatively pain free. Dr. Widman gave me my life back. I cannot imagine where I would be right now if it weren't for him. A brilliant rheumatologist with a fantastic sense of humor!

Long lead time for appt., then doctor changed appt. 3 times. Seemed more interested in talking about himself & his family. Ordered necessary tests, but I felt it was a pro forma, cookie cutter approach. Seemed competent, but coasting on his reputation. (2013)

I went to Dr. Widman because of a cousin's referral. He was cold, unprofessional and basically wanted to refer me to all his friend doctors downstairs in the building just to get the financial kick backs. He did not listen to any of my thoughts, dismissed anything I brought up and did not do a complete physical examination before he gave me his outrageous diagnosis...made without any lab tests or imaging studies. I will not be going back to his office again and regret not walking out as soon as he came in the room with his terrible disposition.

Dr. Widman is an excellent physician. He has recently changed offices and has some new staff handling the front desk and paperwork. He has been my RA doctor for the past 4 years at his old office and I found this new facility and staff friendly and helpful.

The staff in this office does not show signs of compassion towards the patietns. Very difficult to get information and even more difficult to get follow up on filling out necessary insurance forms and things like this.
