Welcome to our web site! I'm Dr. Dave Wiedie.
I am very passionate about excellent dental care offered in a relaxed and comfortable way. Patient comfort is always the first thing on my mind when we are helping patients with their dental care. Like all disciplines of medicine today, dentistry is changing rapidly. I spend many hours a year in continuing education programs to ensure that our care is very technologically advanced. You will find that all dentistry offered at Elegant Dentistry is state of the art. I'm a graduate of Denison University and Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. I have practiced dentistry for over 25 years. I enjoy working with children, teens and adults, providing a full range of general dental services. I am also certified and trained to provide other services such as sedation dentistry for those patients who are anxious, Invisalign orthodontics and laser dentistry. I hope you'll enjoy finding out about those services by reading through …our site! When you call our office for an appointment, you'll meet my wife, Beth on the other end of the line. Beth is our business manager, make sure to read her bio too. Beth and I share 5 children, Robbie is 21 and is in school at Marquette University. Rob has already been fortunate enough to have traveled to South Africa and South America. Kate is a junior at Penn State University where she is studying in the college of communications. Kate is the only girl but the best athlete in our family. Sorry guys, it’s true! Jack is in the 12th grade and attends Walsh Jesuit High School. He's deep into the college planning process and has recently received his driver's license. At last count he's only hit the garage once! Alex attends St. Hilary School in Fairlawn and is in the 8th grade, Daniel is in 7th grade at Revere Middle School. We also have three (big!) dogs and a cat at home so we manage to stay busy. When there is spare time, I enjoy reading and sports, especially hiking and biking. Most of all, I enjoy meeting new people. I created Elegant Dentistry so that we could provide a different model of dental care.
