You'll notice the difference from the moment you arrive the office reception area has the hallmarks of a five-star hotel, and your treatment from start to finish will that same caliber of care. "My wife and I traveled throughout the United States and Europe and took photographs of all the five star hotels in order to gain ideas as to how top resorts make their clients' feel comfortable," Dr. Wilhelm explains. "We then merged those ideas into a warm and comfortable environment that makes our patients feel... well you guessed it, warm and comfortable. When you enter our office it is as if you are entering a five star hotel or a country club lobby, or someone's home. Nothing has been spared to make the patient feel at ease and welcomed. Sensitive to the fact that many patients feel apprehensive about …visiting the dentist, Dr. Wilhelm has incorporated many comforts from home within his practice. When you enter the office, the first thing you'll note is the smell of freshly baked cookies a far cry from the medicinal smell characteristic in most dental offices. Patients can enjoy cookies, freshly brewed coffee, and a beverage bar while they wait. Once in the treatment room, the pampering continues. Dr. Wilhelm has special dental chairs that massage the upper back during treatment and each room has satellite TV entertainment and DVD players for a pleasant diversion. Still nervous? Nitrous Oxide is available for those who prefer it. The office not only offers patients a warm, comfortable and friendly environment, it also utilizes the best technology has to offer for better patient care. The water that is used is sterilized water, and not city tap water. Dr. Wilhelm explains that research has shown that normal city water, which is not sterilized, can introduce bacteria into the oral environment that can delay healing or cause secondary infections. Dr. Wilhelm's office also has its own in-house dental laboratory, for your convenience. In a field where technological advancements continue to expand at a rapid pace, Dr. Wilhelm's office remains on the leading edge of dentistry. His patients enjoy advanced laser dentistry for everything from routine fillings and Zoom one-hour tooth whitening to gum re-contouring and hygienic treatments. Dr. Wilhelm also offers aesthetic imaging which allows patients seeking a smile makeover to see before and after pictures of their new smile, prior to the work being done.
