Dr. David J Wilkins, DO

Ive been seeing Dr. Wilkins at Park Nicollet Creekside for more than a decade. He has been the best psychiatrist I have ever had and has literally saved my life. He is an excellent listener, is great at working to fix chemical imbalances, and isn't afraid to think outside the box. If he ever retires, I will be lost.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Wilkins. I find him to be very empathetic & concerned for my health. I have some real difficulties caused only by myself. These are serious medical issues. His use for adjunctive therapy is of great help. He does not reject the fact that I am adherent to the whole Scripture as being the ultimate truth. The only counter I could offer is that I have made an attempt to disclose the mystery of Christ in an enigmatic way only (and I must include that this is no fault but my own) it seems to go right over his head. He is a very kind and gentle soul. Another astute psychologist I once saw remarked it is a good thing I found a psychiatrist that I like.

This doctor did nothing but prescribe medications without diagnosis. Poor psychiatric care and patient abandonment when medications caused complications.

I would recommend Dr. Wilkens for someone needing to help regulate an imbalance in brain chemistry that results in anxiety, depression, fatigue,hoplesness, sleeplessness and resulting poor mental health.I have been a long time patient. Dr Wilkens has been able to provide me a stable, balanced, enjoyable life. He has the knowledge and expertise to prescribe medications specific to my needs and is able to modify as needed. He's a lifesaver!

I have been a patient of his for many years. A good psychiatrist is hard to come by these days, I am glad I found him when I did!
