Dr. David Williams, DO

Dr Williams does not know the meaning of FIRST DO NO HARM! He is rude, disrespectful, threatening, & talks over you & does not listen at all. As a result of his ignoring me, I became septic after a hysterectomy. I would not recommend him or anyone in this practice. His nurse lied to me & wrote lies in my patient portal.

Highly recommend Dr Williams. Very knowledgeable, informative, caring and great surgeon. Recently had hysterectomy and reconstructive surgery perform by Dr Williams. I was very apprehensive and concerned about having surgery however Dr Williams took time on several appointments to explain the procedures, risks and recovery. He made this time in my life as pleasant, as any surgery, could be. Surgery went well and I am recovering nicely. Thank you Dr Williams. Highly recommended.

I am a happy and grateful patient of Dr David Williams. Dr Williams was professional and respectful, informative, understanding of my thoughts and questions, always treated me with respect and dignity. I had fear of surgery for different reason of my own and he was always willing to listen and help me thru them. My procedure at UPMC Carlisle Regional Hospital was a hysterectomy and reconstructive surgery and I am very happy to say Dr Williams is an excellent surgeon and thanks to him, the surgical team, the great nurses and staff, I am doing well. I highly recommend Dr Williams, again he is an excellent surgeon and caring doctor. God’s blessings to all.

Dr. Williams did an excellent job with my robotic hysterectomy. I was back to work in 10 days and had very little pain. I had large fibroids and horrible bleeding and now I have my life back again. I would definitely recommend Dr. Williams to my friends and family. He is a wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner.

Horrible. C-section performed by this doctor where I had retained the placenta. Went bCk for a post pardom follow up and complained of extreme heavy bleeding and he stood across the exam room and said that was normal...6 weeks after birth. Never even checked my incision site. Found new ob/gyn who discovered the retained placenta and removed. Due to many many ifections, etc... I eventually had to have numerous surgeries ultimately resulting in full hysterectomy at age 27. Thank you dr. David l. Williams of Carlisle for ruining my life. Please everyone run away from this man and his practice.

I found Dr. Williams to be affable, a good listener and practitioner. I do not need an OB so my experience is simply with GYN. I asked for a doctor with "gentle hands" and he passed that test for me. That has been my experience, but I have had no special needs.

Terrible bedside manner. Overly confident in himself. The practice's mid-wives are wonderful, however, I would not reccomend David L. Williams to anyone. I had a high risk pregnancy, and never once did he or his nurse check me for dialation, complete the strep b test, etc... Would not reccomend this doctor to my worst enemy.
