Dr. David M. Williams, MD, is a nationally recognized physician executive, public health pioneer, and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Southside Medical Center (SMC) since 1997. Board-trained in Family Practice and Preventive Medicine, Dr. Williams began his distinguished career as an epidemiologist for the State of Georgia, where he served as the inaugural Director of the Georgia AIDS Program. Through his visionary leadership, SMC has evolved into an award-winning, 18-location Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) network delivering top-tier primary healthcare across Metro Atlanta—including Fulton, DeKalb, Clayton, Gwinnett, Butts, Spalding, and Henry counties.
