Dr. David G Wilson, DDS

Some people settle in...some people settle with...but Dr. David G. Wilson settles for nothing less than excellence in the treatment of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics for children and adults.
While growing up, Dr. Wilson got to see a lot of this country, living in several of these wonderful United States. He developed a fondness for our Commonwealth after attending the University of Pittsburgh Dental School and later a specialized Post Doctoral Certificate Program in Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In 1979, he and his wife Joanne chose the beautiful Susquehanna Valley to make their home, plant their roots, raise their family and build an exceptional orthodontic practice.
Dr. Wilson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the Central Susquehanna Valley Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists …and the American Dental Association.
When he's not behind his clinical mask enhancing beautiful smiles, you might find "Dr. Dave" with his hand in the cookie jar reaching for one of his favorite treats, or on the weekends in the stands of Beaver Stadium cheering loudly for the Nittany Lions. You might also hear his melodious, tenor voice on stage singing Handel or Joplin along with his wife Joanne and the Susquehanna Valley Chorale…or bump into "Dr. Dave" off-stage enjoying a performance by The Actors Company Theater (TACT) in New York City where he served as a board member for several years.
Dr. Wilson was the founder and President of the Concerned Citizens for Quality Education of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Selinsgrove Area Youth Foundation. As an AYSO soccer coach for 12 years, Dr. Wilson combined his love of working and playing with kids, including son Seth and daughter Abigail, with his love of health and fitness. He still carries that love of fitness with him today with weekly workouts at the Evangelical Hospital Fitness Center. Other local "Dr. Dave" sightings might include routing for the Bucknell Basketball teams, riding roller coasters with his staff at Hershey Park or roller skating with his patients at the annual "Doc and Roll Skating Party" which benefits the food bank at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
