Horrible doctor do not trust this guy, I went with the problem swallowing he didn’t ask me one question he just proceeded to drug me for the procedure that they do to everybody to widen your throat with the scope I tried to tell him what was going on and he walked away next thing you know I’m waking up in the recovery room with him standing there saying “I’m not ever going to See you again” And I was just waking up from being heavily sedated and I laughed and I said you’re not serious and he said “absolutely I’m serious”And I said why? He tells me”You took a swing at me and cussed me out” I laughed and said you’re kidding me and he said no I’m not kidding you. And I said why would I do something like that I don’t even know you you had me under sedation do you think it could’ve had something to do with the medication? and he said NO! and then he walked away so then I asked the nurse what went on and she just looked at me like I was crazy and walked away so then I asked someone else to… give me some more information but nobody would. So then I noticed my lip is hurting and I find out I have a swollen lip after going through The procedure and I said what’s going on with my lip and one of the ladies in the office said looks like you have a fat lip so my friend picked me up and took me home I got home and looked in the mirror and I certainly did have a fat lip.I immediately got on the Internet to research the drugs that they put me under I found out that one of the drugs they give you is called verced And that it has a known reaction of violent episodes when you’re sedated. I Immediately called the office and spoke with the office manager who was aware of the incident completely aware when I told her what is going on I have a fat lip and she said oh well yes that is an known issue with verced and I said how come the doctor didn’t seem to know this when I told him that it had to be the medications and he said no it was not. she said we’ll maybe he didn’t know? Then I said why do I have a fat lip did he punch me and then she immediately says no no no that Couldn’t have happened so then I proceeded to tell her what is he doing using medications he knows nothing about and accusing somebody of violence when they are completely sedated by his staff I was not one bit aware of anything that happened during the procedure but I was aware of a fat lip and nothing being done for my issue that I went in there for I came out of there with a fat lip and a huge bill that they actually expect me to pay (that I will never pay) . And I still have the same issue I still have a swallowing problem had nothing to do with what he treated me for there were lines of people in there on the beds next to me waiting for the same procedure to be done it was like a production line to get these done as quickly as possible so that they could line their pockets with cash they didn’t once take a minute to go over my condition with me to find out what brought me in there why I was seeking help they just put me in a bed injected me with medication even though I told him I felt really weird they didn’t care all they wanted to do was get me in there and out of there as quickly as possible.Do not ever go to this doctor he is an absolute Nightmare And A totally rude incompetent POS to boot.

Do not go to this doctor horrible

I went to see Dr. Woods because he was only MD available right away- now I know why!. Dr Woods did not do any tests (RED FLAG) to make sure of his diagnoses. I will not go back to him. Please save yourself the money and time even if you have to go to urgent care or hospital! WORST MD EVER!

I'm not real big on going to the Dr. But, Dr. Woods and staff were very professional, caring, and made my experience very positive. I would highly recommend them for all your gastro needs.

This was my doctor for 4 years and all he did is put me on all these different meds some of them (Remacaid) cost about $3,000 every two months. When it couldn't afford this Medication he stopped helping me out all together. I even was insured. Didn't precribe anything to me just gave me the boat out the door. I was only 17 at the time. I am now 24 and found they are so many great doctors out there that arent selfish and take vacations 2 times a mouth. This is the worst doctor i have ever had and would never subjust him to anyone even people i don't like....

Dr Wood is the most personable doctor I've ever seen. He takes his time and listens to what I have to say. Anytime I meet someone in the main hospital who has had the pleasure of working with/talking with Dr Wood, they've always had wonderful things to say about him.

My family doctor wonted a second opinion on my stomic propbems. He sent me to Dr. Woods. He said that the frist doctor was wrong about my codition. The frist doctor said I had Chrons . The frist doctor did tests and it showed I had Chrons. Dr. Woods said he was wrong I had IBS. Dr Woods did not do any test to make sure of his diagnoses. I will not go back to him.
