My first intro to this group was when I had my first colonoscopy. I had no problem with Dr. Woods, but I had plenty with his staff. I do not have the most cooperative veins and I advised the nurse that she should go to my left arm and offered to shift position. She declined and tried to go with my right arm, and was unsuccessful. In comes the second nurse and I advise her of the same. She ignores me and goes for the same spot, unsuccessfully. I will not bore you with details of the insults I endured about my skin, age or the attempt to make me feel stupid, but that happened too. In comes a third person -- either the anesthesiologist or their nurse -- and I advise her of the same issue with the right arm, etc. She stays with the right arm but moves down to my wrist. After a few tries, she gets a vein, but it was obviously precarious. I advise that it would not hold, but she ignores me, adds extra tape and tells me not to move my arm. During surgery, the needle, unbeknownst to… the surgical staff, partially comes out. I remember feeling a pressure in my abdomen and hearing voices, but thought I was dreaming - I have never dreamed during surgery before. When I woke up, I asked the nurse why my arm was hurting. When I looked, the needle was pressing against my skin. The nurse turned and walked out and said nothing when I asked where she was going and if she was going to remove it. She returned several minutes later, took it out and said nothing. No one did. I am not a vindictive person and let it go. Now, I wish I hadn't because of an issue after my husband's colonoscopy - I did not know he was going to Dr. Wood until after his appointment. Because I had no issue with Dr. Wood, I let it go. Now, we are trying to recoup money we had to pay because of some lab test and how it was coded at our PCP office that caused this not to be treated as a screening at 100% coverage because of his age. Sadly, I did not become aware of this until paying the bill at the anesthesiology group when their billing staff questioned the charge. They were kind enough to appeal, without my even asking, and got my money back for their portion. Unfortunately, Dr. Woods' office was not so helpful. I not only had to ask them to do the same but had to push to get them to do it. It has been two months and I have heard nothing. As I said, I have no issue with Dr. Woods but neither I nor my husband will ever go there again.

What a pleasure my initial visit was with Dr. Wood... He listens, is compassionate addressing sensitive issues, approachable with all my questions, & understands pain! He's helped me through a rough patch & started my road to understanding what was wrong & put me on a path of feeling much better... Good man, great doctor!

Dr Wood was prompt and explained pre and post procedures.

seemed like Dr. Wood gave me fifteen different tests, negative after negative... my insurance company is still sending letters asking for information/reasoning, months later
