David R Zackrison, MD

It is unfortunate that Dr. Zackrison has a staff that is far from people-friendly. I call in to have my prescriptions transferred to a mail-in company associated with my insurance. The nurse is less than courteous and responsive. Return calls were promised but never fulfilled. With the pharmacy called their calls also went unanswered. It looks like I'll be looking for a doctor who has a team that also supports the patient's needs.

I wish I could separate my experience with the doctor from my experience with the office staff. I have been a patient for years. In general, I have been pleased with Dr. Zachrison. He has been fairly prompt, has generally taken the time to understand my concerns. He has always been courteous, and generally through. My experience with the business management side of this practice has been horrible. I called to check on the codes billed for my last visit, after realizing that I had been charged over $1200/hour for services rendered. I was curious, and wanted to understand. I was treated with contempt by the office manager. She repeatedly cut me off on the phone, refusing to try to understand my perspective. And the billing folks in Atlanta (???), while courteous, were of no help. If you are looking for a good internal medicine Dr. and are OK being treated poorly by the practice management, I would definitely recommend Dr. Zackrison. If you believe you deserve to be treated… courteously and with some modicum of respect by the business end, keep looking. If Dr. Zackrison moves to another practice, I will seek him out again.

I feel Dr. Zackrison is very well educated in the field of medicine. He is quite thorough in following up on the necessary treatments needed for a patients health and well being. And he takes the time to answer any Questions!! that I might have during my appointment time. Thank You Dr.Zackrison
