Dr. David Lee Zumerchik, MD

Dr. Zumerchik is excellent and very knowledgeable. I had gone to the ER 3 times in about 10 days with a uti infection that was resisting antibiotics and 2 very large kidney stones. Immediately after reviewing my cat scan Dr. Zumerchik informed the ER to admit me. Dr. Zumerchik explained everything to me. I actually needed a nephrostomy tube for two weeks before surgery could happen. I spoke to him about concerns and a fear I had about having a stent. He listened to me patiently and gave no guarantees that a stent would be avoided but shared with me all the reasons why if it couldn’t be avoided why it would be necessary. He explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. I ended up not needing the stent and both kidney stones were removed without incident. His office staff are polite and very helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Have been a patient of the dr's for a few years. Over the last 3 weeks I've called and was told my calls would be returned by end of day, well that never happened First two times two days later I ended up having to go to the office to talk about issues. Called Monday with issues or UTI or bladder infection. Was told couldn't get in to see the doc, was put on hold and then when put back on was told someone would call back by end of day. It's nor Wednesday night and still no call. went to a different doctor. Not sure if issue is doctor or staff.

Worst doctor ever never cane to see my mom in the hospital until right before he performed surgery. Did surgery she was back in hospital 5 days later with same pain and the stone was stuck he came in next day no mask said he was doing xray and sending her home and left room did not let her ask questions or nothing needless to say we requested a new urologist

only trust him is the absolute best

Dr. Zumerchik surgically implanted a transvaginal mesh inside me that had been recalled prior to the procedure. When I followed up to discuss abnormally long healing time and extraordinary pain, he simply brushed me off showing no concern.

Awesome Doctor. Out-standing Professional. Saved my life. I was so fortunate that Dr.Zumerchik was recommended to me.Took an extraordinary amount of time explaining everything to me. If you need a Urologist on the South side Dr.Zumerchik should be your first choice.
