Dr. Dawn Marie Brink Cymerman, MD

Dr. Brink-Cymerman has been my primary care physician for more than 10 years. She has seen me through many medical issues, serious and minor. She has always provided excellent care and guidance. She is a great listener, and I never feel she is rushing through appointments. I’m very thankful to have her and her staff overseeing my health care.

For years Dr. Brink-Cymerman failed to recognize a prominent facial lesion might be a skin cancer that I have a documented history of. Only after I stated the lesion was becoming irritated and blistering did she refer me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist's staff diagnosed this as basal cell carcinoma. Due to the long period with no treatment, the cancer had grown deep into my skin and required surgery. This resulted in a disfiguring scar. The doctor recently composed and signed an official document with false and misleading statements regarding my daughter.

Dawn if very sharp and knowledgeable. Has and is getting my health back in order, although I just found out I have a new problem that will cause disability. I would not want any other Dr. for the rest of my life. I am very happy with her. There is a few things that need improvement in their new system, and one thing is to listen more to the patient . I Had a problem with that with one person there, and getting refill is sometimes very slow. Over all, I am satisfied. I would recommend anyone to go there.

This is a review by a medical student. Dr. Cymerman was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was always very kind to patients and accommodating of all needs. She is also an excellent teacher, which makes for a very smart physician.
